Lately I have not gotten it to work, but in the past I would turn engin off, press the brake to the floor, and press the gas petal down to the floor 3 times. Repeat this procedure until you succeed. After reading the answer to the same question on the 2000 model, I remembered that this is the correct answer for the 2002 model also. NEW ANSWER: Turn key on, DO NOT START. Push the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times. Then turn key off and then start engine. Light should flash and then go out. Just be sure that you let all the way off of the gas pedal each time. NEUTZ.
That REQUIRES an ENGINE SCANNER to do that.
