for a 1997 olds aurora you have to press the engine "eng" button till you get to the "change oil now" then press and hold the reset button till it says "oil life 100%". it should be the same for a 96.
yes, it does! its located on the back fender below the light!
Either try disconnecting the battery for about 10 mins. or have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
You'll need to find a shop with a code reader that reads ABS computer codes.
Look at my answer for the question posted directly above this one.
When "low tire pressure" shows up hold down on the RESET for several seconds
Take the light assy off and take the bulbs out the back.
press the oil button then press the reset button hold for five seconds it will reset oil life monitor back to 100%
The light is reset with a scan tool after the repair. There is not a button.
Answer can be found in your Owner's Manual. If you do not have one, you need one. Without an OM, maybe someone who owns an Olds Aurora can help you. Open Up the little door with all the buttons like MPG, Fuel Used... Push the ENGINE Button til the OIL LIFE is displayed then press & hold the reset button til it resets bout 6 seconds.
no reset switch in this system
