In the Lancer CVT transmision there are to simplify things a series of "belts" that allow the transmision to vary the gear ratio based on the vehicle's needs. For example, if the driver accelerates quickly it will switch through the gears and keep RPMs high as you accelerate to maximum speed; conversely if the driver accelerates slowly it will maintain low end torque to and keep RPM in the medium range to maximize fuel economy.
In order change a transmission in a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant, it is best to change the solenoid first. it is then recommended that you take the car to a certified transmission garage to do the work.
Bulbs may be burnt out.
Dextron/Mercon III will work for that transmission
Depends on what type of Mazda the wheels came from. For example, the 2004 Mazda 3 uses a 5x114 bolt pattern which is the same as the 2008 Lancer. But the 2004 Mazda Miata uses a 4x100 bolt pattern which would not work on your Lancer.
it means that one of the indicator blubs have blu which causes them to flash quickly
The AEM Cold Air Intakes work really well and gain real power that you can feel. If you click the link you can find one for your Mitsubishi Lancer. Cheers, GPI Performance
You cant fit 6x9. 6.5's work but you have to buy the extra harness and a good eye to line it up right.
DEXRON II but DEXRON III will also work.
It needs to get replaced when it starts to get old or not work properly. Make sure to check it every few months to see if it looks good.
