FIRST YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE TRANNY IS NO COOLER THAN 86 DEGREES Fahrenheit AND NO WARMER THAN ABOUT 95 DEGR. F. THEN YOU LIFT THE VEHICLE (LEVEL) NOT JUST ONE END, THEN YOU GET UNDER THE TRANNY AND FIND WHAT LOOKS LIKE A DRAIN PLUG IN YOUR TRANNY PAN, ITS NOT, ITS ACTUALLY A TUBE , GET AN ALLEN WRENCH AND LOOSEN IT (DO NOT TAKE IT OUT YET), THEN YOU GET IN THE CAR , START THE MOTOR,PUT YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND RUN THE TRANS. THROUGH ALL THE GEARS (ABOUT 4 SECONDS IN EACH GEAR) THEN PUT IT BACK IN PARK ,DO NOT TURN THE MOTOR OFF, GET BACK UNDER THE CAR , UNSCREW THE PLUG THE REST OF THE WAY OUT, IF TRANNY OIL RUNS OUT THEN ITS FULL, IF NO OIL RUNS OUT THEN YOU MUST BREAK THE RED SEAL ON THE FILLER TUBE , PULL OFF THE FILLER CAP AND SQUIRT IN VW-Audi AUTO.TRANS.OIL ONLY-NOTHING ELSE WILL WORK,...ALSO, YOU MUST PERFORM ALL OF THESE STEPS BEFORE THE TRANS. TEMP. REACHES 113 DEG. F......GOOD LUCK YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO IT IN 2 OR 3 SESSIONS UNLESS YOU ARE SET UP AND ARE QUICK
these have a sealed unit tranny. No fluid needs added....maint. free
You don't. It is a sealed unit.
You don't because it's a sealed unit, you will have to take it to a shop
There isn't one. It only has a filler hole on the tranny itself. It is a sealed unit....maint. free. you don't add fluid to it
you can't it is a sealed unit. will never have another vehicle with a sealed trans. only way is to have it serviced.
You add fluid the same place you check the fluid level. If you have a newer GMC the transmission may be a sealed unit with no place the check the level or add fluid.
Sealed transmission. That is why there is no dip stick for checking level. You can also see it is not in the owners manual. No dipstick. Its a sealed unit...
You add it at the same place you check it, unless it is a sealed for life unit.
The transmission is a sealed unit and the fluid is supposed to last the life of the vehicle. If you want to change it you should take it in for a complete tranny flush.
You cannot check the fluid level as the transmission is a sealed unit. A GM dealer can check it if you have a leak. If you have no leak then it is fine.
You can't it's a sealed unit alot like the BMW 3 and 5 series
I have va 2000 Malibu and it is a sealed unit, you should not have to add fluid unless there is a leak! jack up vehicle make sure it is level .remove plug next to tranny pan to check,if it is full it will be at bottom of plug hole,if fluid comes out it is over filled! add fluid through red cap on top off transmission on drivers side' until level with plug hole, you will need a tranny funnel to add fluid.tranny must be warm!
