its not too difficult there is a plastic cover that needs to come off first, just requires to remove a few bolts and some plastic fasteners, once you remove those under the plastic cover there are a few more bolts which can be removed with a ratchet set. once removed the headlights come out, from the back of the headlight there is a black circular cover that you need to unscrew to pull the light out, unplug and replace if its a halogen bulb do not touch the bulb because the oil from your fingers could ruin the bulb. hope that's helpful.

you did not turn the switch off they are not automatic
