There are 4 screws that need to be removed. they require a Phillips screwdriver for 3 and a Torx for 1. To remove panel: (This works for 1998 to 2000)
1) Remove one Phillips head screw from bottom of panel near rear of door. (If the bottom of panel is carpeted look for a hole in carpet near bottom rear of door)
(Skip steps 2 and 3 for electric windows)
2) Take a small flat-head screw driver (or use fingers) and pop off the top piece that covers the window roller handle. (It pops off at the shaft end and rotates out of the way staying attached at the knob end) (Skip this step if electric windows)
3) There is a Torx screw under the cover that screws into the center of the shaft. Remove it and window handle will come off.
4) Remove piece that has the door closer pull handle and buttons for window control if you have electric windows. There are 2 Phillips screws under the door handle. Remove screws then slide your finger in between that piece and the panel on the bottom side and then pull towards you. There are 3 or 4 clips that will pop out and the piece will pop away from the panel. If electric windows disconnect wires from bottom of that piece.
5) There is another Phillips screw in the panel under the just removed piece that needs to be removed.
6) Pull up on the entire panel and it should pop right off.
7) To put back on reverse procedure making sure you put the manual door lock lever through the hole in the panel before trying to push the panel back down on the locking tabs.
