Continue of questionThe Pedal will not even go down far enough to hit the switch that allows the key to turn the truck on. I changed the clutch out and put everythign back on. Now this is the only problem I have. It doesn't go down enough to allow the truck to switch gears. I figure i may have to bleed the clutch cylinder, but I have no clue where the bleeder screw is. I've bled brakes before, so if someone could tell me where the bleeder is, I'd appreciate it.

Why would it be Hard to shift craftsman lawn tractor model 917.270514?

Either the drive belt is not releasing far enough when you press the clutch pedal or the brake is not engaging enough. You will need to see if the belt is still turning when you press the clutch pedal down.

Brake fluid is running down the clutch pedal and when you mash the pedal the pedal remains on the floor?

Actually if the fluid is coming down the clutch pedal it is probably your clutch master cylinder going bad or the seal around it. No worries it is a cheap fix. If it is coming down the clutch pedal it has nothing to do with your brakes. Some people well most use brake fluid for the clutch.

How do you shift gears on a sport bike?

Squeeze in the clutch lever. To go from Neutral to 1st, you squeeze in the clutch and on most bikes press down on the shift pedal. To get to 2nd through 6th, squeeze the clutch, and lift firmly up on the pedal. Lift up as far as it will go, otherwise you will have shifted into Neutral.

How do you adjust clutch on 1998 mustang?

How do you adjust the clutch on a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000 GT?

i belive the clutch adjusts automatically as its hydrolic not cable operated The clutch itself adjusts automatically, yes. However, you can adjust the pedal if your clutch is not engaging at the correct point as you press and release the pedal. Simply sit upside down in the seat (this is not as awkward as it sounds) and look at the rod that goes through the firewall connected to the clutch pedal. It will have a little nut on it that you can adjust with a wrench. That nut can work itself lose and make you feel like you have a failing clutch when really it's just the pedal.

How do you add clutch cylinder fluid to 1998 Ford mustang GT 4.6 liter v-8?

The clutch is a cable based. There is no fluid and there is no clutch cylinder. To adjust the clutch cable slip your foot under the clutch pedal and lift up. If you hear it click it adjusted itself. If not then it did not need to be adjusted or the clutch is worn out and there is no adjustment left. ========================================================== Just adding to the answer : Without the engine running put the transmission in 1st gear After lifting up on the clutch pedal press the pedal DOWN , SLOWLY Then if you hear a click noise the clutch has adjusted itself
