∙ 12y agoIn the Northeast region there are actually 11 states. 6 are known as the New England states, and the other 5 are knows as the Middle Atlantic States. The 6 New England states are Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The 5 Middle Atlantic states are Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
