your turn signal switch is busted, you need to call a Mitsubishi dealership order the part and it's really easy to replace, remove the cover around the steering wheel there should be a few screws underneath the steering wheel then a few screws holding the turn signal lever on and a few electrical plugs on the turn signal lever. took me about 5 minutes and I have very little mechanical know how
My 1994 Expo LRV uses the same switch. It was onl;y used in the '94 LRV , the '94-'95 Dodge Colt Vista, and the '94-'97 Montero. Couldn't find a used one in the whole country. Ordered it from advance auto. EXPENSIVE! $165.00-ish. Had to pre-pay for it...
there are 2 small tabs on the turn signal swith in side the steering colum. these turn the signal off when wheel is straightened after turning. if one or both are broken, signal will not turn off automatically

The owner's manual will tell you the exact location. They may be on the driver's side, just to the left of the steering column underneath. Or under the hood on the right. They are to access and inexpensive to replace.
