I'm thinking wheel bearing replacement. I had a similar issue with my VW Jetta, and wound up replacing wheel bearings AND inner/outer CV joints...
the car's front wheels can be violently turned by hitting objects during the crash, this causes the steering wheel to turn as well,so drivers remove their hands to prevent injuries like broken thumbs, broken wrists, broken arms, etc.
Most likely a bad axle
I have the same problem if it was making a grinding noise contact ego-fly if its not making a grinding noise the rotors might be hitting each other
Check the belts, all fluids and anything that looks like it is rubbing. An engine mounted fan could be hitting the shroud, or any pump or the alternator could be grinding.
inflates and prevents your face/head from hitting the steering wheel
It sounds more like you are hitting the starter again after the engine is running.
It doesn't. Your face will be less damaged hitting the airbag than if it hits the steering wheel.
have it checked you could have bent the axle and the noise would be the bearing
You keep hitting parked cars and stop signs.
It could be a number of things. It could be the drive plate spindal hitting something every time it spins...
1st thought is you need shims if the flywheel is hitting the starter. What is the year and model of the vehicle?
I'm not surprised. Go to the alignment shop and get a wheel alignment. It will cost about $80 US. Unless you damaged some of the steering components. It's your ONLY option.
