I was checking the 2000 Ford Expedition Owner Guide and it shows the
Transmission Fluid requirements are indicated on the transmission dipstick or
the dipstick handle . Either ( Motorcraft MERCON-V for the 4R70W ) or
( Motorcraft MERCON for the 4R100 )
The type of transmission fluid to use should be engraved into your automatic transmission fluid dipstick ( at least it is on the newer model years )
The 2002 Ford Explorer AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS take Motorcraft MERCON " V " automatic transmission fluid ***note : starting with the 2002 model year of the Ford Explorer 4 door , there is NO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID DIPSTICK***
Need to know the transmission model in order to answer this.
That would be Motorcraft MERCON V in the automatic transmission ( *** note , starting with the 2002 model Ford Explorer four door there is NO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL DIPSTICK *** )
You wouldn't want to do that because starting with the 2002 model Ford Explorer ( four door ) there is no automatic transmission fluid dipstick / dipstick tube that would allow you to put in automatic transmission fluid at home
To check the Automatic transmission fluid on the 2001 BMW X5 3.0i model, there is simply no dipstick to look for. Answer: The owner's manual will discuss this in very limited wording in regards to the AT fluid of this particular model found in the A-Z topics of the Table of Contents. This model comes with a "Lifetime Fluid" sealed in the automatic transmission casing, thus there is no need to check the fluid level. Check with your local maintenance personnel to further substantiate this answer.Read more: How_do_you_check_transmission_fluid_on_BMW_x5

Place a drip pan beneath your 1995 Mercedes Benz automatic transmission. Remove the automatic transmission drain plug. Allow the transmission fluid to drain out. Replace the drain plug to its original position. Fill the transmission with new fluid.
If it is an automatic transmission, then it should have a dipstick to check the fluid level. Depending on the make and model, the location of this dipstick will vary. If it is a manual transmission, then the fluid level really can't be checked and it will not have a dipstick.
Depends on the transmission model. There have been a number of manual and automatic transmissions available for these vehicles.
You can't but your dealer can.
