What would make the air intake not intake enough air ot open the master air flow sensor could it be the throttle position sensori dont have a check engine light on?

To replace simply remove the air intake duct (usually one plastic screw), locate the sensor, disconnect wire plug in, remove the two sensor mounting screws (torx screw variety, size not remembered) and the sensor will come off. When replacing be sure to line up the throttle shaft with the proper groove inside the sensor...it should just slip in there pretty easily with a little bit of wiggling. Reinstall doing the reverse of the above. Remember, in order for people to give you the best answers you should send your questions with enough information. Assuming it is a manual transmission, it sounds like you aren't giving it enough throttle before you are releasing the clutch. You are just experiencing engine braking while the tires are actually spinning faster than the engine rpms. Give it a bit more throttle and let the clutch out a bit slower and see what happens.

No; turning it off stops the fuel supply and spark ignition cycle. It does not cause the engine to immediately absorb the energy that was being produced, so there is not enough energy to stress anything to the point of fracturing. Turning the engine off at full throttle has the same effect as turning the engine off at half throttle except there are more revolutions per minute (RPMs) being generated, so it takes longer to stop. It would certainly damage the turbo if fitted.
