== == There's a pressure switch on the Power Steering system that's supposed to tell the computer to increase the idle speed when the power steering is being used, since it increases the load on the engine. So, either that switch, or the wiring for that switch, is bad. If that doesn't do it, then you may have crud in the idle air control or the throttle body.

Is the steering wheel turned hard against the lock? Try moving the steering wheel back and forth hard at same time turn key.
These are on the steering wheel horn pad area? Look behind the steering wheel, on the backside) for some screws....may be recessed a bit. remove these and the buttons should pop right out. This shouldn't activate the air bag.
Internal seal in the Rack & Pinion steering. You probably shouldn't drive it until you get it fixed.
Three possibilities come to mind: # wrong key # steering wheel locked # defective ignition switch For #2, one has to relieve the tension on the steering wheel before the key can be turned.
The problem could be the lock for the steering wheel. Move the steering either side while trying to turn the key.
It depends: does your truck have power steering or manual. Keep in mind that while driving a car with speed, power steering or manual, much less movement needs to be made on the wheel to make a bigger turn adjustment. If you have power steering, and it is hard to turn at any rate, check the fluid, belt, and check for leaks. if you cant find whats wrong and you still have a problem turning the wheel, it probably the pump going out. If you have a truck with manual steering, it might be normal.
Your front tires are defective. Its time to replaced them.
Maybe there is something wrong with your car, you should get it checked out.
could be your ignition
A shaking steering wheel means something is wrong. Can be a tire out of balance, bent wheel, or suspension problem. Whatever it is, the shaking it putting stress on other parts and can cause other things to wear out. It is especially hard on wheel bearings. have this diagnosed and repaired asap.
