It will be on the lower right(passenger) hand side of engine. Not hard to replace but can be hard to get at. Use a flare nut wrench to remove the gas line if a regular wrench slips. Just 2 bolts hold it into place. Install a new gasket, put some grease on the pushrod behind the pump to hold it up into motor and install new gasket, and pump with the two bolts. If pushrod does not move up into engine ,bump starter to nove the eccentric 1/2 turn then it will. Done. I hope this helps you. Mark
ok the only problem is, this location that Mark is talking about is for the carbureted engine,if the engine is fuel injected, the pump will be in the fuel tank and comes out the top of the tank where the fuel goes in.
Yes, the crossmember for suspension is in front of the engine. Very easy job.
It is a relatively easy job to replace your speakers depending on where they are located.
Behind the tail lights. Where you fuel the vett. the gas cap is connected directly to the tank. Its real easy to change fuel pumps on these!
the wiper motor is located under the black plastic cover at the bottom of the windshied on the outside of the car. remove wipers and about 6 plastic screws. the motor is held down by 3 bolts and is easy to remove. I puchased a rebuilt motor on e-bay for about $58.00.
Starter is located under the exaust manifold to the right..... easy to get to..
It could be you thermostat is bad.take it out and replace They're cheap and easy to install.
No easy task...you need a mechanic.
Yes. Pull the plastic and you will see that they are easy to get too. Just becareful pulling them out. Replacements can be found at your local parts store.
ITS LOCATED INSIDE THE GAS TANK, YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE TANK ITSELF. I don't Think That's the correct answer. I believe the pump is in the tank, but it's verry easy to remove. Open the tank lid and remove the bolts on the plate around the filler tube. Dosconnect all the fuel and vent hoses and lift the plate straight up. the pump, filter and assembly are on the bottom of the suck tube. They will all come out in one piece.
Just replaced them....there are two of them....they are located under the car on the driver's side...back behind the wheel...pretty easy to find...and easy to replace...just "unclip" them...and "clip" in the new ones....piece a cake.
Easy one. It's a mechanical pump located on the right (passenger) side of the engine close to the bottom. There will be at least two metal lines coming from it. If you replace it, be sure to put a little heavy grease on the shaft inside the motor to keep it from sliding down. If it slides down and you tighten on the pump on it, it will break. Done that myself. It's an easy job.
