Why did the US joined the Philippines war?

At the beginning of WWII the Philippines were a US possession, and had been since 1898, when they were taken from Spain in the Spanish-American War. The US had a large military presence in the area, including a major airbase at Clark Field and the headquarters of the US Asiatic Fleet in Manila Bay. This US Military presence in the Philippines was the reason the Japanese attacked the US, in Hawaii and the Philippines. The Japanese planned to conquer the Dutch East Indies (today's Indonesia) and knew this would probably mean war with the US. Directly between Japan and the Dutch East Indies lie the Philippines, so the Japanese attacked the US forces in the Philippines to prevent the US from interfering with their conquests. They needed the East Indies for the oil there, because the US had cut off oil sales to Japan. The Japanese were divided over whether to also attack Pearl Harbor, but in the end decided to, so as to do as much damage to the US Navy as possible, which would gain them time to consolidate their conquests. The Japanese probably would have attacked the Philippines eventually anyway, but they attacked when they did because of the US presence there.

For starters your grammar is terrible. Second, the US had forces on Bataan that would need to be checked if the Japanese would ever control the Pacific as this was their goal. Also, the Japanese needed a buffer between their islands and other countries/areas they controlled from Australia as the Japanese knew that Britain or the US would try and help their allies. Philosophically: The Japanese thought themselves a higher race of people and deemed it necessary that they controlled Asia.
