I have to believe you have some miles on this Jeep. Most likely, there is an abundance of "blow by" in the engine's piston rings, and that oil is finding it's way thru the PCV system into the airbox. Check the PCV for proper operation...if that's OK, then the engine's mechanical condition should be checked.
i would like to know which direction the arrow on the fuel filter is to be facing towards the motor or fuel tank
My advice would be to have the transmission fluid and filter changed. If that does not correct the problem you need to have the transmission rebuilt by a professional.
the timing is off make sure that you timed it to piston #1 i have a 1991 wrangler that had the same problem when i rebuilt it.
bad pcv valve Blow by
You would use the same oil filter for both synthetic an d regular oil in your jeep.
Most likely the filter. i would check the fingers inside the filter for tears.
check your Idle sensor which is attached to your throttle body. This ussually goes bad and tends to rev the idle up. I had the same problem with my 99 wrangler.
Bad air filter? Fuel Leak? Plugged converter? Tune-up?
wrong oil filter , bad oil filter gasket
I have a 99 Jeep Wrangler Sport. My wipers would somtimes work, other times not. Now they don't work at all. Checked the fuse and replaced the switch with a brand new one, still nothing. My guess, if you have the same problem, is that the wiper motor has burned out.
Be sure you are installing the correct oil filter for that engine.
No, it will not.
