Good Luck!
PS. I rewrote the whole answer, I didnt just adjust it.
A motor from a 1991 Oldsmobile will fit into a 1996 Oldsmobile Delta 88. The motor mounts will need to be changed.
yes yes
Yes, but the transmission will not bolt up. You would have to use a B-O-P transmission(Buick-Olds-Pontiac). a 200R4 tranny instead of the Chevy 700R4, unless you use an adapter.
I think you will need to use the caprice tranny as the bolt holes are different on the olds tranny. Here is how it works if the motor is a Chevy you must use a tranny with the Chevy bolt patern. There is some trannys with both bolt pattern. (never seen one). If it is an olds motor you must use a BPO tranny. BPO is a Buick, Pontiac or Oldsmobile. I am sure that they do make adapter though (never seen one)
If it's for a 305 it's a Chevy and will interchange with a 350. If it's an Olds, it won't.
it is on passanger side off inteior firewall behind and below glovebox
Read your questions before posting them. What you just asked makes no sense. Do you mean an Oldsmobile Delta 88 from the year 1985?
you have to remove the door panal off and its in the door, bottom of window.
check the distributor to see if you are getting spark. check for fuel filter clog.
only if they are both rear wheel drive or both front wheel drives
in my 89 Oldsmobile delta 88 , the heater motor was directly under the center of the windshield under the hood. black circular thing.
It is probably no longer a rsistor but a transitor control model on the fire wall.
