You Have a 1997 Ford Ranger 2.3 liter 5 speed transmission you are replacing this tranny How do you remove the clutch cable from inside the bell housing is their a special tool to do this with?

There is a tool, but you don't have to use it. On the outside of the connector you will se a white plastic ring in side the sleeve. Push in on the sleeve and use a screwdriver to push the ring in. It will release the fingers that hold it on, and you will be able to pul it right off.
