located below the oil filter
The oil pressure sending unit is located on the drivers side of the engine on the rear of the head. It has one wire going to it. It's a pain in the butt to get to. I'm looking for the temp sending unit on my 89 4cy ranger. Any idea?

The oil pressure sending unit on a 1989 GMC Sierra is located slightly above the oil filter. You will need a flashlight to find it. It may be hard to recognize it because it should have a heat shield around it as well. Look for its wire coming down from the engine compartment and follow it to the oil pressure sending unit. Drain your engine oil and remove the oil filter to make changing the oil pressure sending unit easier.
If you have the 4.2, it is on the passenger side of the engine near where the dipstick enters the block, forward of the starter.
The 1989 Ford Ranger pickup truck ignition module is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The ignition module will be on the drivers side of the firewall.

You need to remove the dog house (rear engine cover). The oil pressure sending unit is located next to the distribiture. It usually has a plug with just one wire.

The temperature gauge sending unit, located on a 1989 Honda Accord LXI is located on the thermostat. It is the small connection with a single wire sticking out of it.
on the drivers side frame rail
i would check the oil pan if its not there check the front of the block just above the oil pan if its not there then it will be near the oil filter
