Gout is a type of arthritis that occurs when there is too much uric acid in the body. When the uric acid builds up in the joints, usually in the toes, fingers, or knees, it causes a gout attack. These attacks come on suddenly and cause severe pain, swelling, redness, and heat in the joint. Many times the big toe is involved and when that happens, the gout may be referred to as podagra.
Natural Treatments for GoutThe standard drug treatments for gout include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, colchicine, or steroids. Many people search for treatments that do not contain harmful chemicals or that have side effects.
One effective treatment for gout is vitamin C because is lowers the uric acid levels in your body. This can be added to your diet with citrus fruits or juices as long as the juice does not have any added sugar. Studies have been performed with vitamin C supplements and there was a reduction in the uric acid levels.
Another natural treatment for gout is cherries or cherry juice without added sugar. The recommended amount is between one half a cup and one cup of cherries daily. One reason cherries may help gout is they help reduce inflammation and thereby reduce pain.
A Gout DietMany people with gout try and identify the triggers of their attacks. This is difficult to do because an attack can happen when old uric crystals dissolve and that may have nothing to do with what you ate that day. A correlation has been shown between high uric acid levels and the high intake of protein and iron. There is also a connection between lower levels of uric acid and the intake of dairy products.
The bottom line is that everyone's body is different. One gout sufferer may get relief by eating less seafood, and another may do the same thing and there is no change. The best approach to a gout diet is a moderate one. Cut back on meat and protein and add cherries and dairy products. Also add to your diet extra vitamin C in foods or supplements.

Age-related erosion of articular cartilages and formation of painful bony spurs are characteristic of ostoearthrosis, sometimes called arthrosis. It is colloquially known as arthritis, which is misleading, because arthritis is a class of diseases with articular inflammation, the archetype of which is rheumatoid arthritis.
The four radiological signs of arthrosis are asymmetrical joint space loss, bony spurs, subchondral sclerosis and geodes (holes in the underlying bone). Chondrocalcinosis and cartilagenous loss, and articular malalignment are other signs.
Although arthrosis is usually age related, a number of other causes are recognized, such as trauma and occupational arthrosis.

I was not able to find the exact information you are looking for, however I did find some info on sulfadiazine. which amounted to Avoid using any sulfanamides. I wil put a link in the related links below named (methotrexate ⇔ sulfadiazine) and wil also put the drug interactions site I got it from below that, (named Drug interactions with methotrexate) If I can make a suggestion. Being in basically the same situation as you I have found that metho trexate can cause skin irritations to linger and have been prescribed steroidal cremes to take care of it However aside from the stuff not being particularly good for you it is also expensive. I have now replaced it with tea tree oil and it works like a charm. In the case of the sunburn try hitting it with aloe vera, straight from the plant if you can, or get some creme that contains alloe vera. Tea tree oil would tend to sting a Little on the burn.

Would an increase in tubular reabsorption decrease urine output?
This question is asking about a general phenomenon seen in the kidney: tubular reabsorption. The kidney tubules reabsorb lots of things, so you'd have to be specific in order to get a correct response.
If you're asking whether, say, increasing tubular reabsorption of sodium would decrease urine output, the answer is yes assuming normal physiology.
Gout is the result of high levels of uric acids that are formed by the metabolisms handling of purines. some of this comes from the elimination of the body's own cells. Therefore it would be reasonable to expect an increase in uric acid if poisons are introduced into the system because they cause more cells to die and require disposal.
