As said above Israel is part of Asia (middle east being more of a cultural group of countries- islamist, than a continent).

That said Israel is at the crossroads between Europe Asia and Africa. This means that while its geographical grouping is definitely Asia, it holds more in common culturally with the rest of europe (It is far less arabic in origin than the rest of the middle eastern countries) - and is treated as a member of europe in some minor ways (e.g. being included in Eurovision song contest). From a flora and fauna point of view Israel is shown to be the central country bordering all three continents, as historically animals from all three continents roamed here, though most of these are now locally extinct.

Tokyo is a massive city and just like most cities it is predominantly office and residential high rise buildings. Similar to that of other very large cities, Tokyo is divided into many separate districts with some of the more famous being Shinjuku, Shibuya, Roppongi, Akihibara, Shinagawa, and many others.

Europe is much smaller than Asia, about 1/4 the size. Europe is also less populous, with about 1/4 of the population as well. However, Europe is much more developed and industrialized, economically, politically, etc. It boasts the largest economy as well as some of the strongest currencies. Europe is much more densely populated than Asia as well. It also hosts one of the world's superpowers, the European Union (although this is not a country itself), as well as many of the former superpowers (UK, France, etc.), yet these countries still remain some of the most powerful in the world (definitely in the top 10). Generally speaking, the most popular Asian countries would have a large sphere of influence, or would be publicized heavily in the media. Here is an appropriate list.

1. People's Republic of China: global influence (politically and economically), historical prominence, cultural presence (when you think of Asia, you think "China")

-China is often viewed as the next world power and has historically had regional domination.

2. Japan: economic influence (Sony, Honda, Toyota, etc.), cultural presence (anime, video games, food)
