How to remove steering wheel Chevrolet 2004 cavilier?
I can give you a geneeric instruction from the other wheels I have pulled. First unplug battery let it set (recommend 20 min.)to discharge any juice from the airbag capacitor. remove the air bag. it will be held on by two screws from the back. Once this is off remove any cruise control switches or whatever else there may be to make sure these arent damaged while removing the wheel. There should be a large nut holdng on the wheel. Undo this nut. You will now be able to pull the wheel off by using a bolt puller set or some sort of stearing wheel puller. It should now be off. Hope this helps.

How do you remove the C-clips from a 10-bolt Chevrolet Gov-Loc differential?
1. First jack up the car, the axle must have both wheels off the ground to remove the axles. If you can take off the wheels, it will be much easier. 2. remove the diff cover. 3. see the diff, there is a pin about half an inch in diameter that is in the differential. This is the carrier pin, it holds in the side gears. It must be removed to push the axles in enough to remove the c-clips 4. there is a bolt on the side near the end of the carrier pin that must be removed to remove the carrier pin. Take this bolt out. 5. the carrier pin only goes out one way. rotate the diff so u can see the other side. 6. get a punch and hit the carrier pin bolt out aboutan inch maybe a little more, then rotate the diff so you can grab the other side of the pin and pull it out. You may have to use vise grips to get it. 7. push the axles in towards the center of the vehicle. 8. The c-clips are in the diff, behind the spider gears use a magnet or pick and you can pull them out
How do you remove the cassette deck of a 94 Chevy Z71 to install and after market CD player?
Okay, its more complicated then that. it took me a long time to figure out how to do this but i finally got it. You have to remove your cassete deck and under the steering wheel there will be a box with two plug ins in it. you have to remove both of these, then you can pull your cassete deck out. Now the box that you pulled both plugs out of you have to removethe box. There should be 2, 7 millimeter screws in the bracket along with a small nut. Then you have 4 more 7 milli screws to remove out of the ash tray. Once you have that out there will be one more small nut you have to remove and then the box will fall out. On the top of this box will be 2 wiring harnesses remove both of them and those are the wires you will need to wire your deck to. you need to buy a special wiring harness for Chevy trucks that those pulg ins will plug into, i went to radio shack and bought one for 20 bucks that had the antenna atachment on it. remove the antenna wire from the box and now you don't need that box anymore. Plug the wires into the wiring harness then wire your deck to the wiring harness and connect the male and female part to the antenna. Install your deck and your finished! I hope this helps you because it took me almost a month to figure it out!
That's all if you have this type of truck of course.
No. It unbolts from the transmission just under the starter. The hardest part will be unhooking the line from the cylinder. Use a nail and a pair of pliers to push the roll pin out.
How do you remove stuck fuel pump rod on 89 Chevy 454?
Today I removed the fuel pump push rod from my 1985 305 Chevy V-8. It was stuck so bad that it has taken ten months of trying every thing I could think of to remove it. The rod is 1/2 inch, so I went to the hardware store and bought 1/2 inch copper tubing and a copper "T" connector, plus a bolt with a 1/2 inch hole. I also purchased J-B Weld epoxy metal weld. I glued the "T" section to a ten inch long section of copper tube, than I glued the bolt with J-B Weld just above were the "T" section is glued to the tube. I cleaned the stuck fuel pump rod in the engine block, than put J-B Weld inside the top of the tube, being careful to keep the weld in the tube so it would not glue the copper tube to the engine block. I inserted the copper tube (with the J-B weld glue inside) over the exposed fuel pump rod (making sure to not touch the top of the copper tubing to the engine block). I let it set for 24 hours. Next day I insert a new fuel pump rod in the "T" section of the copper tubing and twisted the fuel pump rod around and around while I pulled down on it. It took about 5 minutes and the old fuel rod fell out. I was amazed this J-B Weld was able to bond like that. But my 10 month nightmare is over. And the new fuel pump rod goes in tomorrow after cleaning the shaft with a wire brush and cleaner. Than I plan to put plenty of lube on the rod. Be sure the bolt at the front of the engine is backed off (it contacts the fuel pump rod). The bolt on my engine is the upper bolt holding the alternator bracket.
How do you tighten the tilt steering on 1982 Chevy pickup?
There are 3 bolts under the steering wheel that sometimes work loose, usually because of people grabbing steering wheel to pull themselves into truck. You will have to rent or buy a steering wheel puller & re-tighten the bolts that are under it.I would reccommend cleaning them & using locktight brand thread lock.

Is it possible to put a 94 beretta v6 into a 94 Chevy beretta that current has a v4?
Yes, it is possible, the only problem you could run into is the v6 runs hotter than the 4 cylinder, so your car will read hot as hell, when it really is not, (ive seen it done) you may want to check up on whether the mounts are in the same place tho as it is a bigger engine... = ? = I'm not sure on this but I'm pretty sure you would have to redo the wiring. Like the 4 would have a certain wiring and the 6 would need a different wiring. as for size I belive you would have to cahnge motor mounts or something It's possible but you have to redo the wiring, change the motor mounts, and theres probably other crap that I don't know. ? Yes it is possible. all inline 4 cylinder and 60 degree gm blocks have the same transmission bolt pattern. I just got done converting my Fiero 2.5 with a 2.8 v6 from a beretta. the only problems that u are going to face is mounting and a wire harness/computer. Since the Beretta comes standard with a v6 a junk yard is a good place to find the mount u need and also a wire harness. Everything must also come with the new v6, like fuel pump map sensor map regulator maf sensor fuel pump relay and regulator, and lots of other good useless stuff that they put on newer cars. Good Luck!!

What is the location of and type of fuse for lighter for a 2002 Chevy ventura?
When you open the passenger front door you will see the fuse compartment on the side of the dash. When you remove the compartment door you will see a large single row of fuses and some small fuses in 5 rows. In the second row of the small fuses 3 slots down from the top is a 20 amp fuse. This 20 ampfuse is the one that controls the cigarette lighter, DIC, and the front auxiliary power controls. It is the CIGAR/DIC/APO FRT slot of the fuse compartment.
Barring an angle guage,90 degrees is a quarter turn. You can judge your starting and ending points and just turn it a quarter turn. Another method I have used is to dab a bit of paint or nail polish on the bolt heads, and use that as guide for a quarter turn.

umm.. first of all I wouldn't do it.. tbi is nice... not only that.. But it would mess up the computer of your vehicle.but if u still want too and didnt care.. "kinda like me when I did my engine for my Chevy caprice".. all you would need is a new intake and carb.. but of course I replaced the whole motor distributor and everything.. Then cut all my wires to the engine compartment and wired up the basics all new.. not too difficult
