Guppies are tiny tropical fish. Koi are very large cold water fish. You don't mention what species of catfish you mean, and there are hundreds. But simply from what I've pointed out you can see that they are incompatible. Only an idiot would try to do it.

(For filter turnover, 5x/hour means the filter pumps 5 times the tank's volume each hour, so that would be a 25gph filter in a 5 gal tank.)

Baby brine shrimp. You can find them at most petstores. These are the best option to feed them. They enhance colors and give the babies the correct vitamins they need which are vital to their survival. Make sure to feed them 4-8 times day.

Yes if they are big enough to fit in their mouths. If you have fry in with an angelfish or other semi-aggressive fish, it might be a good idea to put in a tank divider or separate the fry in a grow-out tank.

EDIT: Incorrect. Fishyfisher82 has a two year old veil angelfish in a 36gal tank (and all the size that implies) with a trio of glass cats who have been coexisting for well over a year. So long as the fish can swim quickly and are not too tiny, and you only have ONE angelfish, you're fine. Angelfish will most likely eat guppies, though.

The short answer is yes. I would recommend although, if you do intend to keep them with small fishes such as Neons and Gobies, that you keep your BGK well fed and feed just before or when you turn the lights out as they are nocturnal hunters and they would rather "hunt" slow moving (or lifeless in the case of frozen foods) then expend greater energy on faster moving prey.

Answer- Yes, they will eat them. If they don't the guppies will die, because the stuff on the goldfish is like a poison for other fish. You should only put goldfish with goldfish.

Differnt types of fish tanks will need different levels on nitrate. However, most fish tanks benefit from as little nitrate as possible. Saltwater tanks should have almost no nitrates. Freshwater planted tanks conversely, should have about 10-20 ppm nitrate. For most normal, tropical freshwater aquariums, keeping nitrates below 20ppm is acceptable.

yes. a neon tetra can live alone but all fish get lonley so on the safe side you might want to buy another fish. and make sure that the sex is diffrent or the male will try to eat the other male.
