Neon Tetras are shoaling fish and it will be absolutely terrified if it is alone. They should always be kept in groups of no less than 4 fish.

Tetras dont have one. They dont get pregnant, they get fertile. they carry unfertilized eggs. And when they mate, the female lays them, and the male fertilizes them. The eggs hatch in about a week.

Guppys grow to a bit more than 1" long. Plattys can get double that size. You need 1 gal of water for 1" of fish. Work it out.

They will eat many plants. They are very fond of Elodia densa and Elodia stricta.

The gestation period for this fish is usually 28 days but sometimes can take some more time. Like all livebearers when the female is in pregnant it will develop a dark triangular shaped gravid spot near her anal vent. As the pregnancy progresses this dark triangular shaped gravid spot will get larger and darker.

There is no set rule, one male and one female would do, but suggest 2 males and 6 females with the same traits. Most local fish stores will recommend 1 male with 2 or 3 females for any livebearers.

If a fishes spine is deformed or broken the fish will not do well and IMO should be euthanased.

Guppies breed easier if there are more male than females. My female guppy breed easily when i had 4 male and 1 female, but 3 male and 2 female would probably work as well.

Yes, almost all shops sell guppies and nearly all of them sell white cloud minnows.

In some cases like guppy fry get stuck in gravel, the corys might eat them as the fry is below their mouth.

Yes, I have experienced this, DO NOT put black skirt tetras with guppies, because guppies are peaceful fish.

That very much depends on how many of each. Two Angelfish need a 35 gallon tank. Work it out. Remember the basic rules. :- 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank needs at least 50% of its water changed every week. Keep the above rules and your fish stand a chance. Fail in any of them and I can guarantee that you will have constant health problems with your fish.

I would get your new babies at least a 20 gallon tank. Or, two ten gallon tanks and put half of them in each. For small community fish like yours, you need one gallon of water per inch of fish. Guppies get to be about an inch long as adults. Baby guppies dowell in small spaces a quart jar is fine to keep them from being eaten by their parents. You can by little tanks within tanks to put in your larger tank. These allow the babies aireated water and keep them part of the community without becomoning a meal. In general fish will grow to fit the space they have.

Usually 4, but maybe 5 if you want to push it a little. But make sure not to add anymore fish after that. If you want more fish get a bigger tank.

Platies prefer heated, warm aquariums. The ideal temperatures range from mid seventies to eighty. Do not have the temperature above eighty-two or below seventy-two.

I had a problem like this, a couple of fish pregnant at the same time. I would either keep them all the female guppies in the birthing tank or keep them in the community tank and when one of the female guppies give birth put the baby in the birthing tank. I did the second option and it was quite good, just don't overcrowd the birthing tank. :)
