Well, the Greeks went way before the civilization we call the Aztecs. If we wish to compare a western civilization with an eastern one like the greeks, we should look toward the Mayans or Olmecs.

They used different things from the nature. For example:Mayan women usually wear traje, which is a combination of a woven, multicolored blouse called Huipil or a corte, a woven wraparound skirt that reaches to the ankles, and is held together by faja (sash) at the waist, and plaited their hair in long tresses. Sandal were worn by both sexes. Tattoo and head-flattening were occasionally practised, and the face and body were always painted. The Maya, then as now, were noted for personal neatness and frequent use of both cold and hot baths.

actually,some Mayans are still living in mesoamerica to this day.they also lived from 2000 BC to about 250 AD (the classic period) and from 250 AD to about 900 AD. And as i said earlier some still live today and still have there own beliefs
