How do you know that the sperm has reach the egg during ovulation?
A positive pregnancy test, or you will deliver a child approx 9 months later!
When a women ovulates how many eggs release?
When a woman ovulates, usually just one egg is released.
There are two mucus stages - one the white non-fertile phase, and the second is the clear fertile phase. The white stages will occur twice each cycle: between your period and ovulation, then again after ovulation until you get your period. The clear stage should last for around 3-4 days, on which you ovulate on the about the third day. But please remember that sperm can live in your body for up to three days, which is why the mucus is clear before you ovulate. Therefore making love on any day that the mucus is white should be safe. If you made love the day before the mucus was white, you were in the last day of your fertile phase and within 24 hours of ovulating - so the chances of falling pregnant are quite high.
SMART QUESTION:
A woman's menstruation cycle is generally 28 days long, but could last anywhere between 25 to 35 days (or even longer).
When is a woman less fertile in the month?
It's possible, but there's no way to tell that isn't insanely expensive and uncomfortable.
Typically as a woman ages, she has less fertile days. Many women can tell they are fertile by the egg white cervical mucus they have. Usually the younger you are, the more of these days you have.
all women are different yes it can be ovulation, however it should not be watery as you described. it should be thicker than water almost like a cream.
you could be feeling or have felt slight attachment pain, some women feel period like cramps when the fertillised egg attaches to the wall of the uterus. it could be a early sign of pregnancy but does not indicate that the pregnancy will attach successfully in which case the egg will leave with your normal period.
How long after the ovulation test comes positive do you start having intercourse?
When it comes to getting pregnant the smartest choice that you can make is to have sex often as more sex increases your chances for conception. However, it is important to pay attention to your ovulation cycles to ensure that you focus your attention on the most optimum times. When an ovulation predictor kit tests positive it means that there has been a spike in LH (luteinizing hormone) levels in the body, indicating that ovulation is most likely to occur within 24-72 hours. It is actually best to start actively trying to conceive 12-24 hours before a positive ovulation test, which is why it is important to have sex once or twice a day during the week or so leading up to ovulation, during ovulation and a few days after.
Can you get pregnant if your ovulation finish?
Yes. The egg stays viable for 5 to 8 days. If you have sex before ovulation the sperm also stays good for 5 or 6 days so you can get pregnant. If you have sex after ovulation the egg is still good and you can get pregnant. So in a 28 day cycle from day 12- to about 22-23 you can get pregnant. Use protection.
Can ovulation start day 1 after your period ends?
Yes, it is very uncommon but it is possible if a woman's cycle is very short.
What type of cramps are you having when you just got off your period at least 3 days ago?
Normal period cramps
What does having discharge and spotting mean?
Discharge can mean many things, but in the healthcare field, when used in conjunction with the term spotting, it usually refers to vaginal discharge and spotting. This means to find fluids or substance coming from the vagina that differ from the usual in amount, smell, appearance, thickness, color, etc. Spotting usually refers to small amounts of blood--bright red or darker as in dried blood.
You ovulate about two weeks before your period, so yes, your ovulation will be off too. There are test strips you can get at most any drug store that will tell you if you are ovulating. I assume the work very similar to a pregnancy test.
Yes. Also, you can track your basal body temperature to see when it is elevated. Most drustores carry these thermometers along with the ovulation kits to help you to know when you are ovulating.
Is a slight fever six days after ovulation a sign of pregnancy?
I am not sure if I am pregnant yet but I did experience a fever of 101 one week after estimated ovulation. I had no other symptoms of illness during my fever. ..Good luck.
I am still waiting to test. I had a fever at 7dpo 100.5. 8dpo a dip to 97.4 then back up to 98.4 at 9dpo. I can't find any information about fevers and implantation. I will keep searching.
A slight fever can be an indication that you are ovulating right now. You may not be ovulating when you think because every woman is different. I don't think a temperature is a pregnancy sign. Just wait until your period is atleast two days late then take a pregnancy test.
I would not rely on BBT . I had been having elevated BBT for 18+ days and was almost sure that It was pregnancy. On the 20th day past "ovulation" my BBT got lower and my AF arrived. So this shows that elevated BBT after ovulation IS NOT a reliable sign of pergnancy...
answer101 is NOT elevated BBT it is fever and quite a significant one.I am about 4-5 dpo and today I had a really sharp pain in my low pelvic area( by overies) that lasted for about in hour or two. Then I came home from work and had a fever of 99.5. I have been reading around to find out that the sharp pains are a normal early preg symptom and that a oral 'fever" is defined as over 99.6...armpit is 98.6..and anal is like 100. Hopes this helps some1.
Why do they go by the the first day of your last period instead of conception?
Because women were falling pregnant before midwives knew about the science of conception and implantation, the only date anyone knew for sure was the date of the LMP (last menstrual period). Also, just because you have sex on a day, does not mean that you conceive on that day- sperm take several days to travel to the ovum, and so the actual date of conception will remain a mystery. When you have your first ultrasound scan, you will be dated based on the size of several parts of the foetus' body, include head circumference and femur length. This will give a much more accurate indication of gestational age, and if you work backwards, you can calculate the date of conception- remember though that the act of love making would have happened a couple of days before. Hope this helps! Aj :)
How many days after ovulation can the egg be fertilized?
Since sperm can live inside women's vagina and cervix for anywhere from 3-10 days it ultimately depends on web you ovulate and wen u had sex. It's always good to have sex 2 days before, the day before, the day of, AND the day after ovulation. If sperm is alive inside the cervix anytime BEFORE you ovulate the sperm will swim up inside your uterus and through you Fallopian tube and will literally be waiting for the egg to be released so that they can fertilize anytime after ovulation the sperm will take the same route but will immediately fertilize as the zygote makes its way out of the tube and into the uterus to begin the circle of life:) this is all possible IF the sperm is viable and IF you ovulated. Otherwise no pregnancy will occur here are a few tips immediately after intercourse, when the sperm has been released inside you, lay on your back for at least 15-30 minutes with a pillow under your lower back to help guide the sperm in they the cervix and so on but most important... NO LUBRICANTS it slows down sperm. If you absolutely with out a doubt NEED lube, invest in Preseed it's a sperm friendly lube that has actually help a lot of women that are lacking cervical mucous get pregnant on their first try.
Do you get pregnant only during ovulation?
Sperm can survive (under ideal conditions) for several days and even up to a week. So a week before ovulation is still within the pregnancy window.
What is the best way to tell when I am ovulating?
The best way to tell when one is ovulating is to keep a calendar. Sometimes there is pain when ovulating, but other times there is not. By keeping a diary, one has a better chance to know the time of ovulation.
Can you take a pregnancy test 3 days after ovulation?
It depends on the individual menstrual cycle.
With the common 28 day cycle, ovulation should occur on the 14th day of the cycle (counted from the FIRST day of the period).
If the cycle is longer ovulation can be expected at 14 days BEFORE the period is due.
Example:
33 day cycle
Ovulation at day 19 of the cycle (33-14=19).
38 day cycle
Ovulation at day 24 of the cycle (38-14=24).
If you want to anticipate your ovulation this is how to make the counts. It implies that you have observed your menstrual cycle over an extended period of time.
If you are trying to get pregnant I would recommend repeated intercourse in the seven days before and (just to be sure) a couple of days after the expected ovulation date. This is because sperm cells survive up to seven days within the uterus (sometimes even up to ten).
Since the menstrual cycle may always undergo changes due to stress, medication, weather changes etc. it is NOT a reliable contraceptive method.
