Hi i too take 90mg of oxycontin due to my spine crumbling. I know how you feel as these tablets are adictive i have been taking these tablets for over 11years. the person who wrote "she hopes it haunts you for the rest of your life" is so wrong how would she feel if she was in your persition would she stop the tablets. i think you should go and speak to your doctor and listen to what they think, It is your disistion after all dont come off the tablets just for the sake of it because of what one person says. Its your body and if you need these tablets for medical reasons then keep taking the pills

First, the lab must test specifically for it. While many labs test for "opiates" in their hair drug test profile, oxycodone is not sensitive in this assay and is likely to not show up. If a specific screening assay for oxycodone is used, then it is likely that it wold show up in the hair analysis. However, other factors contribute too, i.e. if a person justs uses it one time, then the conc. in hair may not be high enough to be detected.

They say (I still don't know who they are ) that the only difference between the two is this : Name Brand drug hold a patent on said drugs , Once that runs out Company's are able to make the same drug but can not use the same name that is why you always see generic for on the bottle. But if you ask me as a chronic pain patient there is a difference dont know why but name brand Vicodin and the Generic work different on my pain

Not even close. Oxycodone is a strong pain medication which is schedule #2 on the drug list, it is like synthetic heroin. This is given for SEVERE pain and is very addictive. Vicodin is hydrocodone and is a good med for moderate pain, but you cannot compare the two. Oxy is much stronger

probably not such a good idea. either it will kill you or you will end up in a drug induced coma, or you will get a really big high. chances for a big high are more likely if you have used or are a user of one of the two. when mixed they are awesome for pain relief but not good for your head or the rest of your body. in short, dont do it.

Vicodin (generic is hydrocodone) and oxycodone apap are both classified as opiates. I assume the person asking the question meant Vicodin instead of Vocodin. Oxycodone apap is the generic form of OxyContin with acetaminophen added. Acetaminophen is the generic form of Tylenol. AFAIK, both are Schedule II opiates.

I consumed 20 5-325mg roxicet aka percocet yesterday and just took and passed a 5 panel drug screening. Test screened for THC, COC, OPI, AMP, and MET. This is no BS, not sure how it happened, but all is negative.

No...u really dont WANT to take these BEFORE a tattoo because they cause you to bleed more...which can make the tattoo process take longer, the tattoo artist has to stop more often to KEEP wiping blood-which in turn can accidentally turn some straight lines to turn out to be "not so straight"

I would make your phramist aware of anything you are taking when getting the scropt filled for Oxycodone. That is one tough drug if you screw it up.

a friend of mine is in critical health condition. She is taking 700-800ml. of oxycudone with 350ml. of solma at least 2 pills a day before bed, effexer 1-2 pills a day and ambien 1-2 pills a day before bed. she is only 24 and im afraid to loose her this way. I know she is addicted cause from what her parents and brother told me she has been taking oxycudone and Roxy with muscle relaxers for about 5-6 yrs. now. And now the dosage is so much higher and she is mixing oxycudone 80ml. with roxycudone 30ml. through out the day and she gets her best high before bed and during her days-off. I know it's not safe and her doctor which she pays $100 per visit does not care! All this doctor cares about is his money! I know cause she gets all her scripts from him except the effexer...her mom gives it to her. I know its not right for her mom to do that cause she needs to be diagnose for her manic derpresant(bi-polar) problem as well. Should i call her health provider and have an investigation put on her doctor?
