Why would you have sharp chest pains Hours at a time Happens every month or so?

If you've been checked and cleared for any possible heart problems, then the other most likely causes are Acid Reflux/Indigestion (the pain is commonly mistaken for heart problems, and is very strong), or muscle / ligament damage in the rib or sternum area where the pain is.

If it's happening on a monthly basis, I'd track what you eat - keep a log when it happens to see if you can equate it to a specific food (anything spicy or acidic will do it) or a class of food. Having had Reflux for years, I know the pain you're describing, and it is not fun to deal with. It comes in waves and can last for a long time.

If you haven't been checked for a heart problem then you should. A cardiologist can give you a portable chest monitor to wear, or they can determine if you have a problem in their office by running an EKG. Reflux is one thing, but heart problems must be caught early in order to be dealt with effectively, so at least get it checked so you can rule it out if nothing else.

What is the best treatment for muscle pain?

Muscle pain can be helped with several things. A hot bath with epsom salt can relieve a great deal of muscle pain. Anti-inflammatory medications like Advil or Aleve will likely be more helpful than Tylenol. There are also many topical creams, gels, and patches that can be applied directly to the area to soothe and relax tired, achey, and stressed muscles.

If a psychopath has no idea or understanding of what it feels like to hurt or be sad or afraid or angry is it incorrect to assume that the very real pain they cause is unintentional?

I am not an expert but the words "Predator and Prey" come to mind when thinking of the personality traits of a Pyschopath and their victim. I don't think its unintentional I think that they don't care or feel concern for other peoples pain or hurt which makes them so dangerous in society, camoflagued by lookng and appearing normal. Answer

When a psychopath abusers his victim, it is entirely intentional. The only difference as that he does not care about the effects that it has on the victim, nor does he have the ability (or will) to empathize with her.

Cavity in your back tooth and it hurtrs what can i do i dont want to go to the dentist?

The best thing to do is go to the dentist. Scince your tooth already hurts, I'm guessing it's already gotten pretty bad. If you go to the doctor soon enough, they'll give you a numbing shot and then drill the cavity decay from the tooth, clean the tooth and then fill in the cavity. The procedure doesn't hurt at all after the numbing shot, before the numbing shot they will give you a swab with solution on it that helps numb you gum so it won't hurt so much when they inject. Annd if you're worried about spending money to get the cavity fixed at the dentist, I say it's better to get it fixed than your tooth hurting. It's only going to hurt more and more. get your tooth fixed and take good care of your teeth so you won't get another cavity.

Why do you have leg pain and swelling after a broken leg repaired with a pin and screws?

The muscles around the break will aslo have been damaged. When the leg repairs itself it does so in a different position to its original (a pin will have insured it did not mend in a dracticaly different position, however some movement is evenvitable). The muslce are therfore having to adjust to the new bone position whilst healing and this therfore places strain on them that can cause pain and with that swelling. With time however this will decrease provided the nerves within the muscle haven't healed in posistion which can pain.

You are 37 weeks pregnant and getting sharp pains in your pelvic area that makes you double up in pain especially when you walk it is getting worse daily is this contractions?

Answer I was at my gynocologist and he said it can only be ligament pains, but it is really bad and I want to know if anyone else has experienced this. Oh boy, I bet half the women you know have had these pains. Sometimes they are at the front and sometimes they appear as back pain. They are just the ligaments softening so the pelvis can stretch a little when the baby is born. Sometimes it feels as though the two sides of the pelvis are rubbung together. Apregnancy girdle can help support the pelvis, or you can see a physical therapist who may give you a belt. Your partners leather belt tightened under the bump may also help.
