Yes you can. However, it depends on how bad the injury is and how long it's been since the accident. You can't BS this stuff - if you try, you'll get hit with a fraud suit faster than your pain will go away.
Since you reported pain at the outset, regardless of whether or not you originally saw a doctor, you can collect benefits. However, you need to see a doctor and have him verify that the pain you're suffering was caused by an injury from the accident. If you're just trying to get some extra scratch, don't bother as the doctor will know if you're faking it. Real pain can't be faked, and any pain bad enough to warrant damages other than just medical bills needs to be serious enough to be seen by pictures.
An frequent example is a whiplash injury. Whiplash initially doesn't manifest itself as major pain, or even at all. However, after a few days it does manifest itself. MRI or CT's can verify the injury severity to the disks.
What you need to do is get to your doctor and have him do a diagnostic check with pictures - MRI or CT preferably, and plain films. It of course depends on whether or not you and your doctor can show that the pain was caused by an injury from the accident itself. You might want to consult an attorney first - they usually work with specific doctors that are also experts in accident matters.
Where in the shoulder does ectopic pain occur?
I'm no doctor, but I can describe to you what I experienced.
At the height of my pain during my ectopic pregnancy, I had pains in my abdomen so overwhelming that I could do nothing but hunch over and wobble from place to place - laying down didn't even help. I was sure that this was just a horrible case of menstrual cramps, but then I started to realize an odd pain in my shoulder. It was intensified when I breathed in, like when my lungs expanded...it was pinpointed kind of at the tip of my shoulder. Hard to explain...kind of underneath my clavicle, nearer to the outside of my shoulder. If that makes any sense at all.
Nonetheless, if you have any reason whatsoever to suspect that you may have an ectopic pregnancy - especially with this questioning about shoulder pain - go straight to the doctor! This is a very serious condition, definitely not one you sit around and wait for the internet to answer for you!

Perhaps it's time to visit your local doctor.
Why do you get pain and bleed when you eat lettuce?
Lettuce (and leafy greens in general) are high in a variety of nutrients; but two of them are known to cause issues for some people: high niacin and fiber.
Both niacin and fiber are needed parts of a balanced diet, but finding the right amounts and the right sources is crucial for comfortable living for people that are sensitive.
Niacin has a long history in causing muscle cramps, starting typically in the neck. Neck cramps can lead to tension headaches (similar in pain levels to major migraines) and additional niacin intake can spread to other muscles creating soreness and achy feelings throughout the body.
Pain or discomfort in the stomach and intestinal regions is often caused by excess gas. Fiber build up from a sluggish digestive system often leads to the gas build up.
While the common myth is that 'you just need to get used to eating lettuce', the reality is that for some people these symptoms are recurring and will not just go away.
They key is to either find a smaller amount of lettuce or greens that your body can handle without a reaction, or to switch to another kind of green with similar (or higher) nutritional levels. Greens should also not be eaten alone and a mix of other foods in the meal will help dilute possible side effects.
What can also magnify the problem are synthetic foods: no-fat dressings, high-fructose corn syrup in dressings and other modified food starches in typical garbage food dressings.
Healthier dressings (with real fat from olive oil for example) and without all the unnatural additives can help the body break down and process greens (and other vegetables) with less side effects and higher nutrient absorption per meal.
Iceberg lettuce is one of the most common offenders, one of the least nutrient dense vegetables it tends to just sit in the gut and rot, becoming a high source of gas production. Replacing it with a smaller amount of romaine and/or spinach leaves may be easier to handle.
As for bleeding; this one is trickier. Nose bleeds or gum bleeding is often a sign of minor malnutrition, typically a lack of either vitamin C or vitamin K. Both are present in dark green vegetables (though C is easier to get from citrus fruits).
For bleeding issues I'm not sure the lettuce by itself is to blame, but more likely an overall lack in the balance of the persons diet. Someone who is increasing their lettuce intake while simultaneously reducing their fat intake for example can lead to bleeding problems: vitamin K requires fat to process, it is a fat soluble vitamin. So even if a persons intake has enough vitamin K, if there is not enough fat to process it inside the body, you will have a nutritional deficit and bleeding problems (k is required for blood clotting and the thin membranes of the nose are constantly at risk of bleeding without it, thats why nosebleeds are the first sign of K deficiency)
High fiber (out of balance with the rest of a persons diet) can also rob the body of vitamins such as C and K; they get trapped and flushed before the body absorbs them.
Switching from lighter greens (like iceberg lettuce) to darker greens (kale, spinach, broccoli, etc) while also ingesting some fat (olive oil on a salad, real butter on the broccoli, etc) is often all that is needed to correct a K deficiency. Increasing citrus intake (using lemon juice in your water, or lemon as part of a salad dressing, or just eating an orange a day, etc) is generally a step in the right direction for correcting the C deficiency.
In summary 'eating lettuce' and having side effects is typically from either eating the wrong kind (for your body's chemistry) or from going overboard and not balancing your overall dietary needs (your body needs proteins and fats just as much as it does fiber and carbs)
Too much of anything is bad for you, that includes lettuce, and for some people, the amount of lettuce they can handle, is not a lot.
Note: if the bleeding is more than just gums bleeding and the occasional nose bleed, consult a doctor.
Also note: if you cannot understand the concept of a balanced diet, please consult a nutritionist; and if that nutritionist tells you to avoid 'all fats', run the other way, they do not have the latest research.

How can you get a guy back after being apart for a few months?
if you are reffering to love, you just have to stay friends with him and show him how good you are but don't over push it. just be gentle, talk, console if he needs it and hope that love will just rebuild. if doesnt like you the way you like him, then maybe is just not meant to be between you two. if you push it too hard, you might get back together but chances of losing it all over again is pretty high.

Following a bite on my foot from a kissing bug, a very painful neuropathy started in my foot. I had had this a while back, but it was pretty well gone by the time I received the bite. Could this have flared up and worsened as a result of the bite?.
You might have pulled your muscle. One of your lats runsfrom your waste up to your shoulder and then connects with your neck muscle. Try stretching or go have a deep muscle massage. Or try taking a HOT bath with a lavander, chamomile bath salt. (Found at walgreens). Repeat any of these as needed until pain subsides. This may be from a strained intercostal muscle (muscle between your ribs) or a rib that is out of place. If when you take a deep breath an you are getting rib pain. This is likely from an out of place rib. Have your MD send you to PT after getting your cardiac status cleared.
Can ovarian cysts cause right flank pain?
Yes! I have ovarian cysts and I've had them for quite a while. After numerous hospital visits and an ovarian cyst discovery, they attributed my lower right flank pain to them. It never fails that when my cycle comes around and the cysts start bursting, my right flank starts up again. I manage with Midol extra strength and Tylenol with warm baths and taking it easy. Good Luck!
yes, because it is type of non steroidal anti inflamatory drugs (NSAID's) which helps in killing the pain caused by different diseases such as arthritis, gout, menstrual cramps and others.
but it may increase the risk of heart problems, and this risk will induce as long as you use it.

A small bowel obstruction is only one of the possible causes of these symptoms but should be considered.
Pain in both or either the abdomen and lower back is common.
Diarrhea and gas can and often do,get around the obstruction.
Stomach ache and vomiting are also usual. The color of the vomit is an important diagnosis tool for a doctor.
There are other possible reasons for these symptoms and only a doctor can know for sure. Please arrange to see a doctor or clinic if symptoms persist
