= the record for a reticulated python is 33ft actually but i can't remember the weight.
The (Asiatic) Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus) is a member of the Pythonidae family and has and average length of 15ft to 25ft however, it is possible for some to grow near 30ft with a weight of 300lbs; the largest was measured at 33ft; they can be located in Southeast Asia and can be found in the tropical rainforest's, a member of the Boa family the female can have up to 100 eggs at a time, the diet consists of small mammals and birds, the larger the python the larger the prey which include pigs, dogs, cats and primates, the python ambushes it's prey and suffocates the victim rather then crushing it, after swallowing the prey whole digestion takes many days to several weeks depending on the size of the prey.

Yes, they can. A python is capable of taking anything around its size, even when it is a leopard. A big African python of 180 pounds is certainly powerful enough to take an alpha male chimp of 170 pounds. If you don't take out the head large constrictors are a nightmare to deal with. You can be defending from five feet of it, but there is another 15 feet that can be worming its way around you. Once the python is coiled around you your screwed. Chimpanzees are stronger than humans, but they would probably stand about as much chance as we would one on one. When accompanied by their troop they should be safe.

Young Rattlesnakes (less than 2 years old) are heavily preyed upon by numerous species like Ravens, Crows, Raccoons, Coyotes, Weasels etc. Even Adult Rattlesnakes are known to cannibalize youngsters. Adolescent Rattlesnakes (above 2 years) are preyed upon by larger predators like Eagles, Hawks, Badgers, Kingsnakes etc. Adult Rattle snakes have only one known predator the "Kingsnake" which is a constrictor. It is immune to the venom of Rattlesnakes and other Vipers and consumes them as a part of its natural diet.
How do you power feed your snake?
yes
Pampiress-
I power feed my snakes. I have a 3 foot Ball Python, a 5 foot Ball Python, and a 12 foot Burmese Python. With our two Balls, we feed once a month usually (unless cash flow lets us feed weekly) and they do fine with it. We feed the 3 foot either 4 small white mice or one medium rat. The 5 foot, we feed her either 6 small whites or two medium rats. Our 12 foot, we feed either 5 extra large rats or three rabbits. Although it is safe to power feed a Burmese, it is not advisable. They will go into a feeding frenzy. They will eat as long as you are putting food in with them. They will over gorge themselves, for they have no stopping sense when it comes to eating. They will eat even if they are not hungry.
The body covering of a python is known as scales. The python is a snake which has a flexible body which is covered with overlapping scales.

Is pine bedding bad for ball python?
Yes, ball pythons require a moist and humid enclosure. Pine absorbs the moisture and this can increase the chances of your ball python getting a respiratory infection and having a retained shed. Retained shed is where the snake does not shed all of their skin. This can lead to moth rot, tip of the tail falling off, eye caps and much much more.
Cyprus Mulch, cellsorb and newspaper are the best beddings for a ball python.
What animals do a pythons eat?
Depends upon the species and locality. Pythons and boas that inhabit areas around water (such as water pythons, reticulated pythons, green anacondas, etc.), will often eat anything from rodents to small mammals (and big ones, in the cases of reticulated pythons and anacondas) to fish and crocodiles!
In captivity, you can feed your pythons and boas mice, rats, guinea pigs (not recommended due to a high percentage of fat), chicken, quails, rabbits, and fish.

the thing that it can't digest is nails, teeth or beak and fur.
How tight does a python squeeze?
depends on the size and weight of the python...the heavier they are..the stronger the pressure..
Yes they do bite, but there very docile animals so i shouldn't worry:)
If you get bitten, don't try to get it off of you,
or yank his head back because their fangs are
curved like hooks.
Grab it either side of its chin and push its head forward
(so his fangs are out of you) and get him/her off you.

Deciduos trees stay green all year?
You have it backwards. Deciduous trees are the ones that lose their leaves in the winter. They're the ones with the colorful leaves in Fall. Conifers are the ones that stay green all year long. They can do that because they have thin needles instead of leaves, and needles don't freeze as easily as leaves do.
How often do you feed a burmese python?
when feeding a snake it usually depends on its size. Baby snakes about a foot or so long require about 2 baby mice once every week. Larger snake could eat anywhere from a small rabbit to a rat i beleave 1 only but as i said that depends on its size im not too sure. you can always ask your local pet store to verify this
What is the cheapest price for a ball python?
If you're buying a normal you shouldn't pay more than 40 dollars for it. (Buying from private breeders is the safest and least expensive way.) Female normals will be over a hundred dollars.
Other morphs like albinos, spiders, etc. can get into the thousands.
