What are adult anacondas eaten by?
Anacondas always hunt only when hungry. They can eat any animal they can manage to capture. Young Anacondas prefer prey such as fish, frogs, rodents etc. Adult Anacondas can overpower many different kinds of prey. They can eat turtles, sheep, dogs, jaguars, bird eggs, smaller sized mammals etc. Contrary to what is shown in the movies, Anacondas do not really attack humans unless it's provoked. Reports do not reveal a large number of attacks on humans. Therefore, you can probably be rest assured Anacondas are not particularly on the hunt for humans for their daily meals!
How wide can an anaconda open its mouth?
Almost none can. Those that are large enough do so the same way every other snake does; by unhinging their jawbone and letting it hang, then using muscular action to pull the prey into the digestive system.
Solid black snake with orange ring around neck?
Description: Ringneck snakes are small - 10 - 15 in (25 - 38 cm) - slender snakes that are generally grayish with a yellow or orange band around the back of the neck and a yellow or orange underside. Two subspecies are found in our region. The northern ringneck snake (Diadophis punctatus edwardsi) inhabits the mountains and generally has a complete neck ring and unpatterned underside. The Southern ringneck (D. p. punctatus) is found in the Coastal Plain and often has a broken neck ring and underside that is marked with a single row or black spots. The northern ringneck is also generally larger than the southern. Although usually grayish in coloration, both subspecies may range from nearly black to tan and both have smooth scales and round pupils. Females are larger and have proportionally shorter tails than males.
Range and Habitat: The ringneck snake is found throughout the eastern two thirds of the United States from southern Canada to Florida , across the desert southwest and along most of the Pacific coast. Ringneck snakes can be found in virtually any habitat but seem to prefer wooded areas. In the Piedmont and Coastal Plain ringnecks are particularly common in moist areas including river floodplains, moist hardwood forests, and wetland edges. In mountainous regions ringnecks are often found in more open habitats where they frequently take refuge under rocks.
Habits: Like other small woodland snakes in the Southeast, ringneck snakes spend most of their time underground or hidden under logs, rocks, leaf litter, or debris. Because of their abundance, ringnecks probably play an important ecological role as intermediate predators in community food webs, functioning as both predator and prey. Although they are completely harmless to humans, ringnecks have weak venom in their saliva which they use to subdue their prey, which include a variety of invertebrates, amphibians, lizards, and other small snakes. In many regions, salamanders and earthworms are particularly important prey. Ringneck snakes probably mate in the fall in our region, and females lay 2-7 eggs in the early summer. The young resemble adults.
Well they range. For a young corn snake like a baby its around £50 for a common morph and really you can go up and up and up, i would suggest spending around £65 you could get a very nice snake. Hope this helps!

Yes, and in fact they are all around us - the birds. Birds are descended from dinosaurs and are therefore dinosaurs themselves, and since most birds can fly, they can be accurately described as flying dinosaurs.

Why do snakes smell with their forked tongue and not their nose?
A snake has a forked tongue because it evolved as a 'direction finding' sense over thousands of years. As a snake flicks its tongue, microscopic particles of scent stick to it. The tongue is pulled back into the mouth, and placed into the Jacobson's Organ - an area of very sensitive nerve cells. So sensitive that it can detect the microscopic variations from one half of the forked tongue to the other - telling the snake to 'go this way' to food !

what do red- tailed hawk eat
I just took a video of a red-tailed hawk eating a large rattlesnake. I was about ten feet away and the hawk tried to fly, but appeared pretty woozy and landed 20 ' away and let me approach it again! It had eaten the head off the snake. Talons and beak were covered in blood--the snake's head was missing. I went away for 20 minutes and came back and the hawk was back at the snake again. I will post the video on Youtube. Look for wildmandl and Hawk With Rattlesnake,
