Corn snakes like all constrictors will strike the prey to hold it in place with their teeth while wrapping (constricting) around their prey. As they prey breeths out they squeeze harder not allowing their prey to breeth in until the prey is dead from the complete lack of air. At that time they begin to swallow their prey.

Its unusual for animals to sequester defensive toxins. Poison Darts Frogs, and Mantella Frogs from Madagascar eat ants possessing an alkaloid the frog sequesters in its skin, that confers defensive abilities. Garter snakes are known to sequester tetrodotoxin from poisonous newts in it's diet, and birds in New Guinea sequester toxins from the insects they eat.

The Indian Cobra and the King Cobra are not the same species, but they both belong to the Elpidae (Elapid) family. Despite their name the Indian Cobra and the King Cobra are not as closely related as one might expect. The genus, Naja, contains what the majority of the population on earth call 'cobras'. The King Cobra does not belong to the Naja genus. It belongs to a different genus. The Indian Cobra on the other hand stays to true to it's name and is a species in the Naja genus.

if you never been bit don't answer this question cause they don't want your advice, so ive been bit by my corn snake when i was cleaning my terrerrium it was non-poisonous so i couldn't die. so it bit me and it was rear-fanged it had 5 teeth marks on each sides on my arm.
