No, however it is in the same family (pit viper, meaning they have "holes" on both sides of the face between there eyes and nostril (these are where they get the term "pit" in pit viper, the viper part comes from the way there fangs are designed, they fold back in the mouth and "spring" open and forward when they are in the act of biting) . Cleopatra never got bitten by an asp. That is nothing but a myth about her death. There are several reasons why this could not have happened, but it makes a nice story.

I wouldn't recommend it ! Although they are both from the same country (and similar habitats) the Pine Snake grows MUCH bigger than the Corn Snake, and therefore represents the danger of crushing the Corn Snake, if it lays on top of it..

How do you get a 2 headed snake?

Two-headed snakes and turtles are the results of rare birth defects, basically the same that cause conjoined(siamese) twins in humans.

There's no known way of causing this to happen, it's just something that nature throws up every now and then.

Usually the creatures born like that don't live very long.

What other snake has rattles?

Rattlesnakes are the only snakes that actually have the little bulbs on end of the tail, but a lot of snakes rattle their tail in leaves to warn anything near by that they are upset.

If you are walking in the woods and you hear what you think is rattling, then I would walk slowly away. It could be anything from a rat snake to a three foot long Diamondback Rattler. Copperheads are also notorious for doing this.

What does a copperhead snake feel like?

A copperhead snake has a smooth, scaled texture, typical of many snake species. When handled, its body feels somewhat warm due to its blood flow, and the scales can feel cool to the touch. Generally, they are not aggressive and can feel surprisingly lightweight despite their length. However, it's important to remember that they are venomous and should be observed from a safe distance.

Do corn snakes cages need to be cleaned?

Corn snake cages do indeed need to be cleaned. I can tell you from personal experience that snake poopies smell pretty disgusting. The nice thing is, they'll only poop about once a week or so, whenever you feed them.

Generally, snake cages will be okay with just a spot cleaning. The poop will dry on the substrate, so just scoop it out with a paper towel, throw it away, and put bit of fresh substrate in to replace what you just pulled out. A full clean is really only needed about once a year or more if you think the cage is getting exceptionally dirty.

Who will win in a battle a golden jackal or a puff adder?

The golden jackal's agilility would probably make it harder for the puff adder to land a venomous bite. So I would say the golden jackal will take this, but if the puff adder lands its venomous bite, it will spell doom for the fast jackal

Are adder snakes poisonous?

The adder or viper is the only poisonous snake found in Great Britain; it prefers heathland or rocky areas where it can bask in the sun during the day, but is also sometimes found in woodland and other habitats.

As a child I lived at Portland in Dorset - noted for its limestone quarries and the very large number of adders. A few people were bitten every year and the local hospital published instructions that anyone who was bitten should bring the snake to hospital with them. This was because many people were actually bitten by harmless grass snakes and correct identification of the snake was needed in order to provide the correct treatment.

Adder bites are not usually fatal, except among small animals, young children and anyone with an underlying medical condition such as heart trouble.

Every year there was a migration of adders along the connecting gardens in front of the row of houses where I lived; I also once found myself alone and on foot in the middle of a family group of around 6 or 7 adders, who stared at me as I stared at them. Adders will not normally bite unless trodden on or if you try to pick them up. I made a hasty retreat and noticed that the adders were doing exactly the same thing.
