What was the name of the ski hill in Delafield Wisconsin?

I remember it being called Winter Haven, but I think that was toward the end and was something else before that.

Before it was called Winter Haven it was called Velkerman and closed in the early 80's. It was a great little ski hill and better than Olympia for sure! I was a ski bum, 3-4 nights a week and Sat & Sun. Good times!!

Does Wisconsin law permit the recall of a govenor?

Absolutely. There is only one catch: the elected official cannot be recalled until they have served at least one year in office. For example, there is a huge push to recall Gov. Walker but the actual recall cannot occur until January of 2012, his first full year in office. He is fully able to be recalled on January of 2012 but not before then. This is the same policy for state representatives.

Can a Wisconsin resident buy a handgun in Oregon?

Can you collect unemployment if you get fired for attendence in Wisconsin?

Receiving unemployment is for people who lose their job through no fault of their own. When you file for unemployment you will be asked the reason that you are no longer employed. When you state it was for attendance, then you will need to go through their adjudication process. You will be scheduled for an interview with an adjudicator and they will ask you for your side of the story. They will also contact the employer and ask them the same questions. It is very important to be truthful as the employer generally has all of the paperwork to back everything up. The thing that they are looking for is what occurred the day that you were terminated. For example: If you had three write ups for attendance and you were late the day that you were fired and knew what their expectations were, then you will not qualify for unemployment. However, if you were previously written up for attendance and the last day you called the employer because you were sick and had a Doctors' note, then you would probably qualify if you could provide them with the note because being sick is not considered misconduct.

Are stun guns illegal in Wisconsin?

No Stun Guns are not Illegal in Wisconsin, they are just restricted. You need a Concealed carry license or a recognized out of state equivalent license to legally carry stun guns in Wisconsin.

But, you can have a stun gun in your home or business and even carry it in your vehicle if it's in a closed case without having a CCW. There is a catch though. No one is allowed to sell a Stun Gun to you without a valid CCW.

So in short, you'll need a CCW in order to have one.
