How do you get rid of blackheads and spots?

Use face wash daily to help it go away. One of the best face wash for this is cream or gel. Make sure it is for sensitive skin!

Does hand soap get rid of acne?

Well parents say that a lot but its not true. If you already have clear skin then using soap daily and using Johnson & Johnson's baby lotion will keep your skin be clear and soft. but if your skin is infested with pimples than i suggest you use Netrogena's aloe vera facial scrub you can get it in right aid. or you can use pore strips to clean all the dirt but don't buy pore strips daily us it once a month the pore strips hurt so put lotion afterwards. the aloe in the product takes away the redness and protects you from break outs. use it twice a day for a better outcome also eat very healthy because if you have blackheads it won't go away if you use the product so if you start eating healthy now it'll probably slowly going away. also i recommend Netrogena black eraser if you have black heads, and Netrogena's new and improved wave. k hope this was helpful.

Is witch hazel good for acne?

Witch hazel is a very good product! I have mild acne that is very annoying. I use witch hazel in the night and in the morning after I scrub my face. Witch hazel uses its power to dry acne out. So I got a pack of scrub brushes that take the dry acne off. NEVER pick it off. Hope this helps.

Does popping a pimple help it heal faster?

I can't tell you how long it will take to heal, but I can tell you what to do to help it. The best home remedy I know for it is to make a mixture out of sugar (the best is caster sugar as it is gentle and can get deeper into the skin), honey (preferably manuka honey), and apple cider vinegar, then scrub it (not too hard) on the face. Leave it for around 20 minutes to half an hour. I sometimes also add a few drops of lavender or tea tree oil to the mix. There's a link to it below under "Related links."

Also, use vitamin E cream on the scar, but don't put it elsewhere, because it does increase risks of breakouts.

I know it sounds weird, but if your scar is still relatively new, cold sore cream may help heal it.

I've heard bio-oil is good, but I can't justify that with my own experiences because I haven't tried it.

Lavender oil and manuka honey (or just honey if you don't have manuka) applied onto the scar can also help heal it.

Above these topical treatments, it is important to maintain a healthy diet to maintain healthy skin. Eat foods high in fish oil, vitamin A, and vitamin E, and avoid nightshade vegetables (like eggplant), lactose, or yeast, as it may (if you don't notice a change in the quality of skin, don't worry about avoiding these foods) irritate the skin more, hence hindering the healing process. Avocados are high in vitamin E and C, and they really do help skin to improve if eaten regularly. Above all, drink at least eight glasses of water a day, aim for more if possible (but don't drink to excess), and avoid sugary or preservative-laden drinks.

There are different types of pimples and they can leave different types of scars. The most serious type is cause by cystic pimples. These are characterized by a large painful cyst developing below the skin and if it is squeezed, the pore walls that are already stretched to contain the cyst can break. This leaves a permanent depression in the skin. The only thing that can be done to improve it's appearance is to have it treated by the dermatologist two to three times per year with injectable fillers. Most people with cystic acne are treating it under a doctor's care.

With a more usual type of pimple, a red mark is left behind that can take months to go away and it is sometimes replaced with a patch of skin that is darkened to a greater or lesser degree, called post-infammatory hyperpigmentation. Use of a cosmetic "lightening" or "brightening" cream can help with this, especially one with hydroquinone as an active ingredient. If you are particularly impatient, you can get hydroquinone in prescription strength from the dermatologist. It is often combined with other ingredients that make it even more effective. One such product is Tri-Luma. These creams are not usually covered by insurance plans so the cost must be borne out-of-pocket. However, if the scar is treated early, it can be gone or almost gone within a month.

- Well, first of all, the best thing for that is DO NOT SQUEEZE THEM. Tempting as it is and I know because I do it, too, sometimes....you will really be doing yourself more harm than good if you keep squeezing and picking. But for the scars you already have, try using Mederma and follow the directions exactly. Not a guarantee, but it MAY help. Also, to make pimples go away faster, try using Tea Tree Oil blemish stick, found at the Body Shop (a specialy store in malls)...followed by some of Mario Badescu's drying lotion. Smells nasty (I think there's Calamine lotion in it, among other things, but it works). There's a website for that product -do a Google search and you should find it. I have a problem with those painful cyst-like blind pimples that can make the whole area swell up - it's lovely when I get one on my nose or chin! But if I use those products together at the first sign of a blind pimple, I have about 90-95% success at eliminating it before it gets any worse. Nothing before ever worked like that does for me, so I swear by it. Squeezing is one of the worst things you can do! Besides risking scarring, the bacteria infected puss just spreads into neighboring areas and causes more pimples. Also, you're touching your face with your oily hands to pop it and that's no good, either!

You can pop it more safely by sterilizing the area, use a sterile needle and gently prick a hole in it and let it drain (some gentle pressure may be in order with a clean cloth,) and cleansing the area again afterwards. The best thing is to keep it clean and let it dry up naturally though after a day or so--but who wants to do that on prom night?

Also, now products are labeled "noncomedogenic"-- which means they don't clog pores. Look for that when buying makeup, sunscreen, soaps, etc!!!

You don't say how old the "scar" is, but try a dab of neosporin for a few days. It should help the redness. When I have a pimple, I do the steps as noted above, and then put a dab of aloe vera on it.

For scars related with acne, pimples and chicken pox, you can try using Zenmed's Scars Treatment Kit which is very effective and can get rid of chicken pox scars within a month's time. So for scars left by pimples, it shouldn't take more than a week or so. The primary ingredients are purified water, glycolic acid, vitamin B5 and glycerin. These ingredients suit any type of skin and are safe to use.

One very easy tip to get red of with this type of scars is, take some Sandalwood powder and make a thin paste with water. At bed time wash your face with lukewarm water and apply this paste on scars. You can apply on full face also. Let it dry and leave it on overnight. Wash in the morning with lukewarm water. Repeat daily. It will take time but it will completely remove your scars or spots.

How do i heal a scab left from me picking a zit?

there are many diffrent was to heal a scar from acne. my favorite and most effective ways are home remidies. i was open to try anything because i had really bad scarring on my face from me pickin at my acne. the most effective was probably lemon juice.either u can cut open a lemon or if u have 100% real lemon juice, take a cotton ball and rub it on all of the effected areas for about 5 to 10 minutes, when done with that, clens the face with warm water then pat face dry. since the skin reacts diffrently at night,i would do it before i go to bed,and in the morning u should alread see results, and u will notice redused redness. another way is to just but poroxide on a Q-tip and put it on a sertain infected spot and hold it there for a minute,u should see the spot began to turn white, but that is a good thing, its raising all of the bacteria to the surface of the skin,so ur spot is technically spotless :),but just has redness to it,so to reduse redness, the first remedy above should take care of it.

hoped this helped! :D

Can a six year old get acne?

technically..yes my 2 year old nephew has had it a tiny bit. When i was 8 or 9 i remember having all these really little bumbs on my forehead but they went away. This could be a sign that he/she could experience acne problems when they grow up so if they do try to do something about it early. Baby Acneby: Jackie G. MaxwellOne of the most common conditions a new mother may see on her infant, is baby acne. But while it is startling in so young a child, it's really not a serious issue, nor should you be overly concerned about the causes or cures.

Some babies when born, may have small red bumps on their face. This is not baby acne, but something called "milia", which usually disappears in a couple of weeks. On the other hand, the acne will appear around that same two week period, and show itself as small white heads, sometimes surrounded by red, irritated skin on the cheeks, chin, forehead and even the back.

In teenagers and even adults, acne is blamed on hormones and excessively oily skin. To some extent this is true of infants also, with hormones transmitted through the placenta, often being blamed for the facial spots. However, science has no real idea of the cause, and there is normally no treatment for the few weeks a child will have it.

Because the baby acne appears on areas of the face where they may have spit up, rubbed against sheets washed in harsh detergent, or drooled, it can become slightly aggravated, but that extra irritation will go away by changing your laundry soap, and wiping their face with a damp cloth when needed.

Is there any way to make a huge and thick scab heal faster after you picked a zit?

Neosporin. :) It's also really handy for getting stubborn zits to come out. Just put a glob on there and let it sit for a few minutes and generally it's ready to come out. Make sure you get the cream, not the ointment though. Fast healing isn't always good as it can cause scarring.

How do you get your zits to go away overnight?

the most common way get rid zits over night that i have always used is after your shower put a couple drops of canola oil in any problem spots
put toothpase on it it really works my aunt and i do it all the time and it even makes it look less red!
It is pretty hard to get rid of a pimple completely over night but there is a way that will help you get rid of it in a day or two, the answer is tee tree oil, tee tree oil is a substance that drys things quickly, so clean the surface of your skin that you want to treat with a wet flannel and apply tee tree oil to the pimple wait for about 30 seconds until it's dry, do this two to three times a day and you will be flawless. oh and also avoid touching your face as you do not know what your fingers have touched and they often could have fat or grease on them. hope that I helped
you can go 2 the doctor and get some cream, or put tons of toothpaste on them. toothpaste REALLY helps, so put almost the whole bottle on.

Shampoo

This is very hard to do:

You can also reduce the size but it will take at least three days for the average person to rid of a spot.

I recommend:

-using white toothpaste, apply it directly on the spot, this will dry out the spot.

-tie your hair up and dont let anything touch near the spot, it will aggravate it even more.

-washing your face day and night, making sure your face is clean.

-any reducing spot creams you may have, use it before going to sleep, do not overuse it.

I dont recommend:

-touching it...!!!

-using facials, as facials usually draw out your spot.

-using anything perfumed.

Until it is healed just put concealer over it, no-one will notice:

make sure it's a good brand, quality makeup will not aggravate the spot as much therefore the spot will heal quicker, hope this helped.
Despite what many people recommend popping it is always the best short-term solution. Think about; if you have a huge pimple is keeping all the pus in it really going to help it. By popping it you are getting rid of the pus, therefore making it smaller and much less red.

I have also found that, interestingly, if you put toothpaste on your pimple and put a band-aid on it and leave it overnight then it is practically gone by the morning!

.
Carbonated water and large amounts of caffeine is the best possible way to remove blemishes and pimples in a fast amount of time. Large amounts of carbonated water can be found in soda pops, preferably root beer and ginger ale. For a quick way to remove blemishes is to rub the soda against blemished areas, apply napkin to spot, rub area for around eleven minutes. Within a few hours the spot will quickly fade. I know this to be true because of my love of soda pop and acne cure.

Alternative answer

You could always try hot water, not too hot to burn yourself, but put hot water on the pimple and most times the pimple will break in a none.

Apple vinegar or lemon juice will accelerate the break of the pimple. After it breaks you can rub hydrogen peroxide.

ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE ANSWER:

You hold a ice cube on the pimple until it get so cold and sore you can not take it no more, and then after 5 minutes or so it will pop and you squeeze all the puss out and then you will be left with a hardly noticeable hole where the pimple was.
put tooth paste on your face and leave it on over night

OR

Try puting sunscrean on and rub it in well and when ever you have the time to put it on do it!! :)

The more you put it on the faster it works. it works for a while and dies off. Mine worked overnight

  1. Wash your face to clean your face. This is to clean your face from dirt and reduce the oil in the face before do the next step.
  2. Apply toothpaste before bed and wash in the morning. Make sure the paste is not gel and don't wash until next morning.
  3. In the morning, wash your face and see pimples have disappeared. I only use toothpaste and it worked. But in the magazine that I read says if unsuccessful can try replacing the toothpaste with fresh lemon juice or lavender oil. This is because every human skin is different.

You can't cure them overnight. If you have a serious problem with them, you should see a Dermatologist.
There is no known "overnight cure" for acne as of now. However, there is a product that is constantly raved about for curing acne pimples extremely fast. Visit the Mario Badescu website and search for the "Drying Lotion." It is a bit pricey but well-worth it for an almost "overnight" cure.
Yes. Here are some of the remedies that you may try:

1. Apply egg white on face like a mask, let it dry before washing with warm water.

2. Apply toothpaste on the affected area, leave it on overnight then wash it off in the morning.

3. Make a paste out of orange peel then apply over your pimples.

4. Apply rose water on the affected area for twice or thrice a day.
There is no way to get rid of it overnight. You need to wash your face and use a cream on it to moisturize it. I have found Neosporin helps with acne and will clear it fast. If you haven't been cleaning it every night you need to start because acne is caused by dirt and oils in your skin the clog the pores.
Try putting a dab of clay (for clay mask) on some of your spots. They might not disappear over night but if you continue using it you will see a difference.
Well I treat my acne using a routine! It doesn't get rid of them in a day, but it clears them up and keeps them at bay! It will reduce their unsightly look in a day!

Routine 1 (Morning):

-Wash face using a pore cleanser/ spot treatment, ie. Clearasel

-Then lightly apply healing cream on spots, ie. Sudacream (This will kill bacteria) Making sure to rub it in!

-Apply a good moisturiser (non-oily) eg. E45, Vaseline.

Routine 2 (Night):

-Wash face again

-Pop any white/ black heads ensuring all excrements are removed

-Apply healing cream on spots! (if broken-out apply like face mask)

Continue this routine daily and drink plenty of water, this will reduce breakouts immediately.

Can you be a model with acne?

Of course you can. You may not become a model but why not believe and try? Actresses and singers need good voices and stage presence to be the best they can be, not looks. I would not be any; singer, model, actress because they are of no importnace to soicety as a whole. They can be bad role models, bad people, and help no other people other than themselves. That is why I want to be a doctor who helps sick and hungry people around the world, not some person who gets millions of dollars to say a few lines. If you decide to be one, be a good role model and help people. Go for your dream.

Acne is the dread of all teenagers and many adults. As you pass through puberty the ance will subside. In some cases a visit to a doctor will be needed for them to provide treatment to curb the effects of the oil gland blocking. Remember, many actresses and models suffer spots its the make up that does the work hiding the problem. If you have a talent then people will see that before the skin issues . Dont worry.

How do you get rid of or fade hair bumps on legs caused by hair not growing in?

To eliminate leg bumps, aftershave, or razor bumps, you must understand what hair bumps are and where they come from. This will enable you to form a successful plan of attack. The bumps that appear on your skin are a direct result of ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs develop at the end of the hair shaft. They have a sharpened edge and attempt to grow straight, however something prevents them from doing so. As a result, they curl back into the same hair follicle. This creates dreadful, ugly, and often confidence destroying facial or razor bumps. Yet, razor bumps are nothing more than an inflammatory response from your body to the infections caused by the ingrown hairs. This inflammatory response or bump can be visually seen as a pustule, mini red bumps, or purple raised bump. The infected areas are often itchy and red, with bumps that spread quickly. The more you scratch your ingrown bumps, the more abrasions you will have. This condition is known as Pseudofolliculitis barbae.

Face, neck, razor, aftershave, or bikini bumps come from several things including: improper shaving, waxing, or tweezing techniques, a dirty barber's blade, dead skin in the hair follicles, and coarse hair that grows in a tight curl pattern.

How to eliminate face, aftershave and razor hair bumps? You do not have to spend hundreds of dollars on laser surgery.

Step One: The first thing you have to do is keep the infected area bacteria-free. You can accomplish this by washing the infected area with a bacteria-killing soap, such as SafeGuard. As with all things, the sooner in the process you start trying to get rid of your face, aftershave, neck, bikini and razor bumps, the quicker they will be gone. The biggest mistake most people make when it comes to face, aftershave, neck, bikini and razor bumps is trying to ignore that they exist. This can prove to be a costly mistake, literally and physically, because ignoring your razor bumps with continuous shaving only allows the infected area to grow larger in size and become more infected.

Step Two: Find a hair bump-destroying product that is extremely effective.

Writing this article as a man, having first hand experience with severe facial razor bumps and infected ingrown hairs, I can tell you that I have tried everything, including expensive antibiotics from the doctor, Skin Tight, Tight End, and countless numbers of other razor bump solutions from CVS and Target. I even paid for specialized consultations with my dermatologist. Nothing worked. But, one day I came across a Hair Bump Destroying Solution made by Beauty 4 Ashes Christian Health & Beauty Co. that worked extremely fast on my bumps. As with all things, the best products are often the hardest to find, because they are less marketed, due to their effectiveness. But, I recommend that you find this product. Hopefully, I can save you from wasting a lot of money. Their website is below under Related links.

Unlike all of the other hair bump products that I used, within 24 hours, I immediately saw a drastic reduction in my razor bumps. I even submitted my testimonial to the company and they sent me a letter letting me know why their products work. Their products are extremely effective at eliminating razor bumps because they contain no alcohols or acids that attempt to get rid of your razor bumps by eating through your skin. Instead, Beauty 4 Ashes uses all-natural essential oils and ingredients that penetrate the dermis and fight your hair bumps from the inside out. The best part about this product, however, is how long it lasts. The solution was an 8 oz bottle and with me using almost six times a day, it lasted me an entire month. Other hair bump solutions, however, are extremely expensive and only give you a 2oz bottles and broken promises for $15 or more. Within 1 week, my face and neck were clear. No bumps. No itching and scratching.

Tea Tree Oil works great for reducing and elimintating hair bumps on face. Put it on your face overnight. You can buy this from walmart.
