Did God Ever Appear to Adam in the Garden?

Yes, God appeared to Adam in the Garden. After the Fall, Adam hid himself when called by God. ---- No, Allah(God) Almighty never appeared to Adam pbuh,. The Messenger described Allah, as "His veil is Light, if He unveils it, the Light of His Face will burn all what His Sight reaches (which is everything!)" [Muslim]

Quran 6:103 "No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision..." (When the people of Paradise will be gathered in a beautiful place) So the Lord - Blessed and Exalted - will laugh to them and say: 'O People of Paradise! Where are those who used to obey Me without having ever seen Me? This is the Day of Increase!'

So, they will all give the same response: 'We are pleased, so be pleased with us!' So, He will say: 'O People of Paradise! If I were not pleased with you, I would not have made you inhabitants of My Paradise! So, ask of Me!' So, they will all give the same response: 'Show us your Face so that we may look at it!' So, the Lord - Mighty and Majestic - will remove his covering and will majestify them and will cover them with His Light, which, if Allaah - the Exalted - had not Willed not to burn them, would have burned them. So, how sweet is this speech to the ears, and how cooled are the righteous eyes by the glance at His Noble Face in the Afterlife…

What were the original duties given to Adam and Eve?

The Bible lays out God's expectations for Adam and Eve at Genesis 1:26-31.

"...God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."(Genesis 1:28 NIV) So God expected the first human couple to care for their earthly home(Genesis 2:8+15), have children and fill the earth with their family(Genesis 3:20)(Acts 17:26). They were expected to live forever and to enjoy the wonderful gift of a paradise garden, expanding it to fill the earth. The only reference to death is made as a consequence of disobedience.(Genesis 2:16-17 / Genesis 3:2-3). Though Adam could have lived forever, he chose to rebel, and died at 930 years old(Genesis 5:5)(1 Timothy 2:13+14) .

What is the fruit generally called which Adam and Eve ate?

Many people refer to it as an apple, but it is not actually known if it was a fruit known to us today. The Bible itself does not call it an apple. It is referred to as the fruit of 'the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.'

Was Cain half Human half Serpent?

No, there are no zoomorphic or mixed Human-animal monsters in the portion of the Bible where the Genesis narrative appears. It is clear that Man was created in the Image of God- Imago Dei, and He would not create mixed Human-animal creatures-which were alas- common in many mythologies such as the Centaur, Sphinx, etc.

How did Adam and Eve feel after they ate?

They received the knowledge of good and evil (i.e. the ability to know the difference between right and wrong) and for the first time in their life felt guilt. Guilt both for allowing themselves to be tricked and for breaking the only "law" that God had given them up to that time (i.e. not to eat that one type of fruit). They also became embarrassed for the first time in their lives, because they were naked and hid from God so that he could not see them (although that was the only way he had seen them before that as that was how they were created by God and it did not bother them before this).

Did God abandon Adam and Eve when they sinned?

According to the biblical story of Adam and Evem God did not abandon them, but drove them out of the Garden of Eden out of absolute necessity.

In the Book of Genesis, there were two forbidden trees in the Garden of Eden, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the Tree of Life. Once Adam and Eve had eaten the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they were they were now like gods (Genesis 3:22: "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us..."), but had also become aware of their mortality.

The only difference between them and God (or the gods) was that they must die. By eating of the Tree of Life, they would then also be immortal. In Genesis 3:24, God drove out the man and placed at the entrance to the Garden of Eden, cherubim and a flaming sword to keep [block] the way of the Tree of Life. In the Genesis story, Adam and Eve were sent from the Garden and could not be allowed back for fear they would eat of the second tree.

Why did God create Adam before Eve?

first, all praise to him, God can do what ever he wants, he wants to do it in sequence, then he does it that way.

second, he can tell us that he created all human being from one soul, not two, as mentioned in quran section 4 (women) verse 1

"O mankind, fear your Lord, that is, His punishment by being obedient to Him, Who created you of a single soul, Adam, and from it created its mate, Eve (Hawwā'), from one of his left ribs, and from the pair of them, Adam and Eve, scattered, separated and spread, many men and, many, women; and fear God by whom you claim [your rights] from one another (tassā'alūna: the original tā' [of tatasā'alūna] has been assimilated with the sīn; a variant reading has tasā'alūna), so that one of you says to the other, 'I ask you, by God…', or 'For God's sake…'; and, fear, kinship ties, lest you sever them (a variant reading [of wa'l-arhāma, 'and kinship ties'] is wa'l-arhāmi, as a supplement to the pronoun contained in bihi [sc. God]). They used to implore one another by ties of kinship. Surely God has been watchful over you, heedful of your deeds, for which He will requite you, that is to say, He is ever possessed of such an attribute".1 God created Adam and Eve at the same time according to: ; Genesis 1:27 : God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Did God create man and woman with the other animals before he created Adam and Eve?

no he didn't they were made then the devil tempted them to eat a poison apple.

Additional thought:

As indicated above, Adam and Eve were the first man and woman on earth, according to the Bible. After creating all the animals, God created the first man, Adam, out of the 'dust of the ground' (Genesis 2:7-8), then the woman from the man's rib(Genesis 2:21-22). The Bible says that "...from one man, he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth..."(Acts 17:26)(Genesis 5:1-2)

The devil got Adam to turn against God and that ONE man, our earliest ancestor, brought sin and death to ALL mankind(Romans 5:12), not with a 'poison apple'(Adam and Eve lived hundreds of years after eating it(Genesis 5:3-5), but by causing man to disobey the creator(Genesis 2:17), become imperfect, thus loosing God's favor and everlasting life for himself and his descendants.

How do you know that it was an apple that Eve ate?

We don't. The Bible says nothing about what kind of fruit it was. The story of it being an apple is a myth. Furthermore, the Bible says the Lord placed an angel to guard the tree of life, so no one could eat from it. That would mean if that were also an apple tree, there would be angels guarding all the apple trees on earth so no one could eat from them! And imagine the price of apple juice, were that the case.

The origin of the apple is that the Greek goddess Hera had an orchard of apples, and was considered the earth mother. There may be some remnant of fact in this myth: the documents and evidences no longer exist.

Why did God breathe into Adam's nostrils to give him life?

It actually means that God placed into Adam his spirit so that he became a living soul. The body cannot function without its spirit. It is the real you and your body is in the exact likeness of your spirit.

What does the story of the fall teach us about human nature?

If Adam and Eve were the first two how did we get so many races?

Humans are all part of the one gene pool. The differences genetically are very minimal between the different ethnic groups...an excellent antidote to those with racist views.

Answer

In the book of Genesis chapter 11 verses one through 9 you can read about the Tower of Babel. In this reading you can see where the people all had one language. The Lord God came down and confused their language and from there scattered them abroad over the face of the earth.

What is a summary of the story of Adam and Eve?

The very first act of creation in the second creation story of Genesis was the creation of Adam, and the creation of Eve came about at the end of creation because none of the animals that God created was a suitable helpmeet for Adam. God placed them in a beautiful garden that met all their needs without Adam having to till the soil. In the middle of the garden were a Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and a Tree of Life. The first people were forbidden to eat the fruit of these trees.

A serpent, or snake, talked to Eve and tricked her into eating the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. After they ate the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve became like gods (Genesis 3:22: "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us..."), except that they were still mortal.

The only difference between them and God (or the gods) was that they must die. They knew that by eating of the Tree of Life, they would then also be immortal, and God knew that he could not permit this. In Genesis 3:24, God drove out the man and placed at the entrance to the Garden of Eden, cherubim and a flaming sword to keep [block] the way of the tree of life. In the Genesis story, Adam and Eve could not be allowed back, for fear they would eat of the second tree.

Was Adam's son Seth ever married?

Good question and the only logical conclusion is that he must have married his sister.

You can find the answer to many biblical questions on the apocrypha: the forgotten books of Eden 1926. See related link.

He married if I remember correctly his brother Abels twin sister. Enjoy.

What did Adam and Eve give to all the creatures?

Adam and eve gave all the creatures the fruits that were in the garden. i am not sure about this answer i am assuming, so you might have to check the bible for that answer

What Did God put at the gate to the Garden of Eden to keep Adam and Eve out?

Cherubim (a kind of angel) and the flashing sword (Genesis 3:24). In addition to the simple meaning, this hints that we cannot access the Garden in this life anymore: we have to wait until after we've met the sword of the Angel of Death.

Where did Adam and Eves children live?

Answer A

Adam and Eve are Biblical myths...they did not exist in reality, therefore they had no children.

But, if you want the mythical story; Adam and Eve lived in the 'Cave of Treasures' after they were kicked out of the garden. This was apparently close to the gate guarded by the angel with the flaming sword as Adam and Eve went back to the gate several times when they were trying to con God into taking them back.

Anyway fairly soon after leaving the garden Adam and Eve had the very first sexual experience of any humans and impregnated Eve. Sometime after Cain was born Eve got pregnant again and had Abel. After Cain killed Abel he left the family (so far only Adam, Eve, Cain, and Able have been mentioned as children) to somewhere that somehow had people that the first family had no knowledge of. There he found a wife and built a city, although no one knows why he built the city as supposedly there was no one else alive at the time.

The Bible doesn't really say where Cain and wife were, but that's alright as they were fictional characters and just a small part of a human created myth about our human origins and this has been thoroughly disproven by modern DNA science. All of humanity down through the years (200,000 years of them for us modern Homo-sapiens) did not spring from 2 people (Google National Geographic genographic survey) nor from 6 people from a non-existent Noachian flood.

The Bible stories are not an accurate history of mankind...not even close.

Answer BFrom the Biblical account, there is little specified as to where Adam and Eve and their children lived directly after they were driven from the Garden of Eden.

However, I think we might judge that they quickly spread in all directions because God's first commandment to Adam included a mandate to multiply and replenish and fill the earth, and subdue it.

How many daughters and sons did Adam and Eve have?

One thought:

According to the Bible, In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them........ and Adam lived on hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters.(Genesis 5:4)

Three Sons, No Daughters

Why did God not want us to eat from the Tree of Knowledge?

How were God's punishments to Adam Eve and the serpent appropriatewhat merciful elements can you see in these punishments?

According to the Book of Genesis, the main punishment meted out to Adam and Eve was to be driven from the Garden of Eden.

After Adam and Eve had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil they became like gods (Genesis 3:22: "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us..."), except that they were still mortal. They now knew that by eating of the Tree of Life, they would then also be immortal, just like the gods, something which God clearly did not wish to happen.

God told Eve what she now already knew: that she would bear children in pain. And he told Adam what he now already knew: that he would one day die. Certainly God was angry, and cursed the ground. But it was so that they would not also eat of the Tree of Life, that he had no choice but to banish them and place cherubim and a flaming sword at the entrance of the Garden of Eden, to keep [block] the way to the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24). Without the idyllic existence offered in the Garden of Eden, Adam would have to work all his days, to provide food.

In this story, banishment from the Garden was necessary once they had eaten the forbidden fruit, and therefore entirely appropriate. God also told the snake that he would crawl on the ground for the rest of his days, a typical animistic, or 'dreamtime' story.
