Yes, Adderall shows up on a drug test. I know this from first hand experience. I was in the Air Force Reserves I had to take a drug test. I had been taking prescribed Adderall for a few months but didn't report it to the medical facility (it wasn't in my file). The following month, when I reported for duty, I was called into the commander's office. The commander started asking me questions about any drug use. Of course, I told him I did not use drugs. He then asked what all prescription medications I was taking. I rambled off the list of my prescriptions and he stopped me after I said Adderall. He then told me that I had tested positive for amphetamines the month before. I didn't get in too much trouble because I had a legitimate prescription, but I did get reprimanded for not reporting the medication as soon as I had been prescribed it. I have found that most drug tests include a test for "amphetamines." They do not specifically check for "Meth-amphetamines" or dextro-amphetamines, or any of the other specific types of amphetamines. I would suggest that before the drug test you let the testing official know that you are on prescription medications. If they ask what kind, tell them. If they don't ask, don't worry about it. If you end up being questioned about amphetamines, all you have to do is show them your script.

That is your body telling you that it needs food to keep you healthy and alive. I agree with the answer above 'eat.' The best thing to eat is something that has protein. Since our bodies are mostly protein, it is an important resource. It is the building block for most all body tissues and is involved in most of the body's metabolic processes. Some good proteins can be peanut butter, yogurt, cheese, nuts and seeds, egg whites (cooked), and soy bean products.

I would have to say that I have taken them together before and I experienced very odd side affects. Paranoia, bad Jitters, and increased heart rate.

I am 100% sure that those 2 combined FOR ME, do NOT mix well. I have taken both separately and years apart and both have worked well for separately.

So please make sure you consult a Doctor first, but even then they may still not be for sure if you will have side affects as I did. I mean a Doctor wrote those scripts for me at the same time. I had to decide between ADD and depression (not that there are not other drug alternatives), but I went with ADD and my depression slipped away.

I have been through this nightmare, and only wish for others to stay away from it. Adderall abuse is real, and needs to be media industrialized. I don't know if your an adderall user curious of the basics of this "challenge," or someone who is contemplating on whether to, give adderall a spin or two. If your a user ready to quit then I will say, all of my luck goes to you my friend, your strong, your ready, so you can do this; but if your a curious bystander, pondering the perks of adderall use, don't delve into it. Find another path that will suit you, because the long-term will soon make the short-term a thing of the past. Be strong fight the urge, and be strong and stay away, keep these things in mind for your own use, and keep this knowledge for others sake.

First, it is Adderall XR. And yes 2 10mg of immediate relase Adderall is equivalent to Adderall XR 20mg. The Adderall XR is time released so if you are taking Adderall XR 20mg, 10mg will be released immediately and 10mg will be released 4 hours later.

You can't really, adderall causes insomnia; and if it's still active the only way you can sleep is to either take vitamin C which will cancel it out. You can also smoke a bowl or two and that'll normally help you out enough to pass out.

Adderall is known to have an interaction with acetaminophen. There are moderate interactions with buffered Aspirin and other aspirin products, Tylenol, and some forms of Alka-Seltzer like Extra Strength and Alka-Seltzer Plus. Methylphenidate is the generic name for Ritalin and is an amphetamine. It is a controlled substance and as a C-II, it is highly addictive. Shooting it up is possible, but absolutely inadvisable if you want to live. You may become dependent on it even after shooting it one time...if you live. Withdrawal from amphetamines leaves you with no energy and no brain power. Shooting methylphenidate sustained release will directly introduce into your bloodstream additional chemicals that can cause blood clots. Amphetamines speed up your heart and make you feel stronger than you actually are. Not a good idea if you choose life!

Most ADD medications are stimulants. There is one that I know of that is not and that medication is called Stratara. There may be others that are not but that is the one I am most familiar with. Medications like Adderall, Ritilin, Concerta, and others are stimulant's and should be prescribed by a doctor only after he has tested you for ADD or ADHD. If the doctor tells you you have ADD or ADHD ask him to go over you options as far as medications go to find out what medication may be the right one for you to take. You may have to try a few if others do not work for you and you are still having symptoms.

Should your doctor decide to put you on one of the medication's that is a stimulant you need to keep him or her informed as to how you are doing. Are you feeling better, are you nervous or shaky all the time, do you have problems sleeping and so on. Your doctor should go over all those things with you if he or she decides to put you on medication.

Also, if you are put on a stimulant the best thing to do is to not tell your friends, etc. Most, if not all these stimulant are abused by other people, many who do not have ADD or ADHD. I am not sure how old you are but I would just use your better judgment as to who you would let know if you do take the stimulant's.

Just say no! to this combination of drugs. THere is no research indicating the efficacy, benefits or risks of this kind of drug combination.

Taking this combination is risky and can lead to sudden death in a worst case scenario.

The answer to this question has a yes and no part. Will it show up as methamphetamine? No. But if you're being tested for amphetamines, the answer is YES, you will fail. And most common urine drug tests DO test for amphetamines. So unless you have a prescription for any kind of amphetamines, you're SOL.

Paracetamol and vitamin B-complex tablets are being administered in large quantities and patients are being advised to consume lots of fluids and take rest. It takes weeks and sometimes months for patients to be completely rid of the disease.

When I take the generic manufactured by Core Pharmaceuticals, I end up with horrible sores and bumps. I have no problems when I take the Barr or DuraMed products (they are the same company, Teva, but the Barr brand is for generic scrips, DuraMed for no substitute).

I would guess it has to do with the salts and by products, but I don't really care. I just know Core brand rips my mouth and tongue up, no problems with Barr.

Sometimes its hard to differentiate between the "normal" side effects of adderall and the side effects from over dosing. ive experienced both, many times, and ill just tell you what i know. side effects from taking an adderall dosage that is too high may include: hallucinations (visual or auditory, such as seeing trails of light or hearing voices), sweating, shakiness (like a leaf!), dilated pupils, dissociation (not feeling like yourself, or having an absence of emotion for things or people you typically care about), aggressive attitude, emotional lability (responding very strongly emotionally to things, severe mood swings), careless or apathetic attitude towards friends, family, or anything that is typically of interest to you, Tangential thinking and speech (thinking about little things nearest you, such as cleaning up or reorganizing, and progressively ignoring or forgetting about the big picture), confusion (such as suddenly feeling unsure of why you chose to do something or be somewhere. also, confusion can be experienced as just a general haziness, physically and emotionally), high blood pressure, tachycardia, euphoria, dysphoria, suicidal ideation or gestures, and sometimes death (in the case of an overdose). The "normal" side effects typically mimic the above side effects, but without the psychological factors. Normal side effects could include weight loss (yay who doesnt like that), loss of appetite, headache, hyperactivity or general malaise, loss of sex drive, inability to orgasm, dehydration.

It depends on if the cough syrup contains dextromethorphan (DXM). DXM and adderall are a very unwise mix, creating a MAOI. It can cause very negative consequences and I would highly suggest against it. If it does not contain DXM, however, there should be no problem.

This is kindly individual, regular users of Adderall (daily user) should not suddenly stop taking Adderall without first talking with the prescribing doctor. It's not something that one should do with ANY medication. Not recommended by any doctor, you should really be under doctors care when decreasing your dose. Making sure that your body is adjusting well. Since we are all different, react different, adjust different this is between patient and doctor.

Effects will wear off somewhere between 8-18 (its long because it's the XR version!) hours depending on external factors such as metabolism, weight, stomach contents, etc.

The metabolites of Adderall (what is tested for in drug tests) should be clear from the body in 2-3 days if the Adderall use has not been prolonged (i.e.: one time use).

Some men do, some men don't really. I find the majority do like it!
