Yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. There is caffeine in excedrin and adderall has a tendency to make people very sensitive to caffeine it could cause more issues like rapid heart rate, headaches, dizziness and even paranoia.

--- That is COMPLETELY not true. I was started at 90mg per day; 1 and 1/2 20mg three times a day. Within one week my dose was increased to 1 and 1/2 20mg(30mx4 per day totally 120mg per day) Ritalin every 2-3 hours 4 times per day. My current prescription is for an overall count of 180x20mg tablets per month. 6 per day(1+1/2 20mg pills 4 times per day). There is absolutely not a "Maximum Dosage" of any drug that a doctor can prescribe. There are guidelines from the manufacturer and the FDA which suggest maximum dosages, but doctors can prescribe any amount of a medication, even if its 10 times the maximum "Recommended Dosage" from the FDA and manufacturers/marketers. of the, drug depending on the person. So any ways I am prescribed 120mg of Ritalin per day and we; Therefore completely nullifying the concept of 60mg per day. Your doctor must be lying to you about increasing your dose, either because of risk of dependence or chance to be sued (due to increased side effects at higher dosages (none which are that bad). Bottom line is that there is NO maximum dosage that's concretely designed. Doctors can prescribe ANY amount of Ritalin per day; which in my case is 120mg per day.

A lot, the worst expirience I went through was the anxiety, and irregular thoughts caused by adderall. I thought about killing, and dying and the more i thought about it the more scared I was to someday actually do it because I knew i wasn't like that. I never tried to get help I stopped on my own after a horrible sleep paralysis I went through where I though I was dead. I did aabused it for about two months

It is generally a rule of thumb that you do not mix "uppers" (i.e. amphetamine, ephedrine, cocaine, etc.) with "downers" (i.e. diazepam, alprazolam, opiates, alcohol, etc.) as certain combinations of these substances can prove fatal. However, I have in the past taken hydrocodone and adderall together for recreational purposes and suffered no ill effects. The key is to closely monitor how much you ingest, and to not go in search of a third substance once you are under the influence. I would recommend not drinking any alcohol and absolutely not taking a third substance, especially not a diazepam or alprazolam. Concisely, I'm not sure what your definition of "okay" is (most recreational prescription drug use is certainly not good for your overall health) but it certainly won't kill you if you keep your dosage reasonable.

The simple short answer is, YES! There is no evidence currently that states mixing amphetamines and opiates together can interact negatively.

It will cause you to test positive for amphetamine, which of coarse is the base product of meth. I'm not sure if you are asking in reference to using vyvance for recreation or as prescribed but this will break both down. If you are given one of thous home test with a simple yes or no answer you will show up positive for amphetamine. If you don't have a script then you are screwed if you do then its on to step two (this is what work made me do.) Anyone administering the test that knows what they are doing would escalate for you to get tested at a lab where they can tell exactly how much amphetamine is in your body. As long as its in range with a prescribed level of ADHD meds then you will be fine.

The answer is no, you shouldn't. Can you do it and not die? Yes, probably, but Adderall is contraindicated with other medications that can increase blood pressure, such as ibuprofen. Use acetaminophen instead.

After calling several pharmacies and talking to the pharmacists on hand and asking them about mixing the two medications they all said that it would be fine. i would not try to overload on either one though. if you need to take ibuprofen for a fever you should probably see your doctor and get a better medication.

That depends on the person and what effect they're looking for. Vyvanse has a longer half-life (last longer) and the desired effects are more stable throughout the effected time. Aderrall XR is less stable through it's shorter half-life; meaning that a person who is taking it can have more highs and lows throughout the effected time.

IF you're completely unfamiliar with the drug, then shock and hallucinations may occur, they only last for a few hours. Almost for certain you won't

remember anything in the timeperios shorty after taking them t'ill really waking up again. Basicly its just a trip.

Allow me to elaborate, if you take those while up awake, and just go around your business as usual, then symptoms above might appear. They differ per person, but hallucinations are almost always on top. Next to that you my your usual business as if you were home, like starting cooking, baking eggs and the sorts n therory you are still awake, since you never went sleeping, but actually your body thinks your asleep so it shows you the dream you have (in the possible invironment). So ye a ah, it's just a trip, and you'll wake up eventually. Better to use and go straght to bed for a good nights rest me tells ya ;)

Adderall (Amphetamine) does have diuretic properties and thus causes an increase in urination, similarly to Alcohol. Amphetamine can cause hair loss with long term, habitual, or heavy dosage use by causing Anagen effluvium.

No. Adderall shows up on a drug test as methamphetamine (essentially no different than if you were doing meth). This is because the product contains amphetamine salts. But because amphetamines are PRESCRIPTION ONLY, you will not find them in any over the counter drugs.

IF you are truly ADHD and have taken a smaller dose that what would me medically prescribed, you will feel nothing while your non-adhd friends bounce off the wall. Hope ithelps.

It is very dangerous to take these drugs together. Both are stimulants, so the dangerous side effects are elevated.
NO!! First off I am 21yrs old and am vlearly no doctor, but from first hand experience seeing a best friend abuse cocaine the answer to your question is you should not blow in the first place! But for a real answer aderall, if you will, could be looked at in a simplistic way as synthesized or legalized cocaine w/o the high. Your heart rate increases on both drugs and a combinational of the 2 would not be bennificial, but rather dangerous

Atomoxetine (Strattera) is much, much safer. Its side effects are very minimal. Adderall is racemic amphetamine mixed with dextroamphetamine. The negative effects of Adderall and other amphetamines can be very devestating, inducing or potentiating severe psychological dependence, weight loss, an array of heart problems , blood pressure problems, psychiatric disorders (aggression, depression, mania, psychosis, paranoia), dental problems, twitching, changes in libido, and probably some other stuff. If you experienced any of these from atomoxetine, they would be very minimal, especially compared to the degree which you would experience them on amphetamines.

There are no KNOWN drug/drug interaction that are dangerous with Adderal and Claritin. HOWEVER; antihistamines (Claritin) may cause an INCREASE/DECREASE in the action of either drug. Consult the PRESCRIBING DOCTOR to get appropriate dosage times. More input: * If taking them both, I would take the Claritin at night since you should be taking the Adderall in the morning. If you wait 10 hours in between meds you should be fine (that is the time it takes so you do not have a concentrated effect of Adderall in your system, based on 20-30 mg).

Strattera and Adderall can both be used for ADHD but they have different side effects and therefore different results.

NO! If you research any REAL study done with Adderall XR or Strattera, you will see that Strattera is maybe 50% as effective as Adderall XR at the most. Also, from patient and physician feedback, you will see the same results. Strattera is not only weak in its efficacy, it is not a very safe product. Adderall XR and other stimulants have been around for over 50 years and are very studied regarding safety. Stimulants such as Adderall XR are proven safe and effective for the treatment of ADHD. Think about it, Eli Lilly has spent more advertising Strattera than all of the other 7 or 8 ADHD branded products combined. Why is Adderall XR still the number one prescribed and fastest growing ADHD product on the market? Because it works the best and has the highest response rate. It has changed my life.

It depends on the drug screen. If the drug screen is simply checking for "amphetamines", then meth and Adderall will both show up as amphetamines. However, many tests will distinguish between meth and amphetamines, and in this case, Adderall should test as an amphetamine while meth should test as meth.

I have been on Adderall for nine years and there really is no good answer to this question. The Physician's Desk Reference says 60 mg. per day is the maximum dose but that is not accurate. The problem is that from the first day you start taking Adderall, your brain begins the process of developing a tolerance to it. It does this by increasing the number of receptor sites on the post-synaptic side of the neural junction. As one's tolerance to Adderall increases, one needs a higher and higher dose to produce the same effects. Some people have gone to 120 mg. and even 200 mg. a day to obtain the same effects as when they started at 10 or 20 mg. per day. There are two major problems created as you keep increasing the dose of Adderall. First, the risk of significant cardiovascular consequences increases. Second, the more Adderall you take during the day, the lower you sink at night when the Adderall wears off and your body actually starts the beginning of withdrawal. At night you sink below what would be your normal mental levels. Therefore, in the morning, it will take longer for the Adderall to bring you to a satisfactory performance level because it has to take you from the valley it brought you into at night, to your normal performance level, and than to a satisfactory performance level. In short, the higher the dose, the deeper is the valley at night; the deeper the valley, the longer it will take in the morning it will take before a satisfactory performance level is reached.

There is still little known about the interactions of ExtenZe but I have found through research that it is designed to be taken like a multivitamin. Makers of this pill say it is all natural and targets the hormones of the sex glands. If this is true, I see no reason why it would interact with Adderall.

Eating Hydrocodone or any medicine like it, will make the onset faster and stronger. Kinda like snorting it, but without the burning of the APAP. I would not recommend eating more than 4, if you have more, cut them at the score and swallow them. I'm only saying this because it will release to much apap and hydrocodone in your body at once, which might be harmful to some people. But that's about it, eating makes the onset quicker and stronger, but it doesn't last as much as just taking them, but it last longer than snorting.

In most cases yes it is safe to take this combination. Manytimes doctors use these in combination, because Adderall has a tendency to deplete the body's supply of serotonin. With that said Lexapro is ideal, since it is cleaner than many of the other antidepressants. In any event, caution should still be used, because combining the two drugs increases the risk of Serotonin Syndrome. Also, this syndrome will generally not develop right when you start but weeks after Lexapro has taken its full effect.

Here's why. Adderall causes your body to product more Serotonin. Once your body adjusts to the Adderall your body begins to produce less Serotonin and in some cases less than you did before. The benefit of Lexapro is that it blocks the reuptake of Serotonin, so when your body produces Serotonin it stays in the synapse and continues to work.

When an individual is just relying on their natural serotonin, SSRI antipredesants are not known to cause any problems, however, because Adderall is adding to the effect of the Lexapro and the Lexapro is blocking the metabolism of Serotonin, you may end up with Serotonin Syndrome.

The good news is this condition, while potentially deadly, it is very rarely deadly. In fact, you will usually just feel really irritable and icky generally before things get serious. When this happens, be sure to consult a doctor. The doctor will likely recommend that you temporarily and/or permanently reduce dosage based on the situation.

Yes, you can mix appropriately perscribed amounts of percocet and Ridalin. They are not contraindicated one to the other. But not recommended for recreational use. You're able to sit through a peice of work and stay on task until its finish. Only when you CHOOSE to concentrate on it though of course. First of all, Adderall is a drug of trial and error. Having said this, if you have ADHD, some of the ways you can tell if you are taking enough are: (1) if it calms your hyperactivity to a level at which you can control it; (2) if it allows you to control your impulsivity by giving you the patience to think before you act and the ability to stop yourself from acting impulsively; (3) if it allows you to focus and concentrate without your mind constantly wandering off to another galaxy; (4) if it increases your attention span so that you can concentrate on a subject for an extended period of time; and (5) if it allows you to comprehend and remember what you read or hear on a subject that your mind would not otherwise be interested in. But, remember, even if you are at the correct dose, the effectiveness of Adderall may vary throughout the day or from day to day. IT DOES NOT TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY. IT TAKES TIME TO REACH ITS PEAK AND THEN, AFTER REACHING IT, BEGINS ITS DECLINE. ALSO, DON'T DRINK OR EAT ANYTHING WITH CAFFEINE IN IT. CAFFEINE WASHES ADDERALL OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM AND ENOUGH CAFFEINE CAN MAKE IT COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE.

There are no known foods contraindicated with Adderall/XR™. The action and absorption of the drug are unaffected by the presence or absence of food in the stomach. That said, the chance of GI discomfort may be minimized by taking Adderall/XR™ with some food or a small meal. Acidic foods (orange juice, pickles, etc.) have been known to increase metabolism and urinary excretion of Adderall/XR, thus limiting the absorption and effectiveness of the drug. (Alkaline foods have the opposite effect.)
