Surgery but I'm taking suboxone what can i do?
Let your doctor know that you are on Suboxone, and what your dosage level is. Then, your doctor (including the ones in the hospital, postoperatively) can give you the appropriate dose of opioid equivalent medication for pain relief. Definitely talk to your doctor about this.
How do you get help for husband when he refuse help with gambling ruining family?
Well, there is not much you can do, because your husband needs to seek the help to truly receive it.
If you force it then he will probably get mad and make things bad, so what you can do is help him to see that he does indeed need help.
Another thing you can do (that is if you wanna try to help him) one thing you could do to help him to stop gambling is to do something else with him so that he does not have the urge to gamble. So instead of sitting around on a Friday night, you could go out and have a nice dinner, or do something with your kids. This may help him to see that gambling isn't as fun as spending time with his family.
I Hope the best for you and your family

Anxiolytic drugs, or those used to treat anxiety disorders, used to be the benzodiazepines such as Xanax and Valium. It is now understood that people who suffer from long-term anxiety problem need to avoid the benzodiazepines because of their propensity to cause addiction and dependence. Even at physician prescribed dose, if you take a benzodiazepine for long enough, 4 to 6 months, you will be physically dependent on them. This means you will suffer a withdrawal syndrome unless you taper the dose of the drug very slowly. Even then, you will suffer some discomfort, depending on the drug and how long you have been taking it. Even though there are these problems with the benzodiazepines, if there were no other choices, then they would still be prescribed to control anxiety. Luckily, the SSRI's (selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors) are now the drugs of choice for controlling many types of anxiety. They work just as well, given time, as do the benzo's without the problem of addiction. If anxiety is the real problem, then paroxetine (paxil) may be a good choice. It is the most efficacious serotonin re-uptake inhibitor and has been shown to have good results in curbing anxiety. All drugs, however, have many effects and you would need to speak with a psychiatrist before beginning any treatment for a brain-disorder such as anxiety. If paroxetine is not for you, there are many other choices of non-addicting SSRI's and drugs such as venlafaxine (effexor) that may be what you need. Again, though, seek professional guidance. No more than Suboxone alone, although there might be some placebo effect from the expectation.
I've been able to get away with this at 15 hours, I haven't tried it any sooner than that though. I did it at this time starting at 0.25-0.5mg (super, super, small fraction of a strip), then another 0.5 another 40 minutes after that, and so forth to my desired level. Other times I have waited 24-26 hours and was always all good, starting immediately at the desired dosage.
But as you will read in any other forum on the internet, it's unique to your own physiology. Somebody's own experience has no correlation to what could happen to another person, many factors. Relapse is incredibly uncomfortable, and the pain of waiting and tapering certainly factor into creating a negative experience to look back upon if ever considered falling off the wagon in the future. People that haven't been through this could not possibly rationalize that feeling. Good luck.
How long do doctors keep patients on suboxone for withdrawl?
It can range from a month to a few years. But the most common time limit is around 6 months. When i was in rehab they put me on an 8 day taper and it was the worst thing in the world after they cut me off the 8th day. It deffinetly needs to be graduately tapered.
