What is a hop up button on a airsoft gun?

The hop up usually isn't a button, but rather a dial or a screw that is mechanically linked to the breech end of the barrel. The dial adjusts pressure to a small rubber component that is in between the dial and a rubber bucking. The bucking is a rubber tube that goes around the back end of the barrel. As the hop up is adjusted, the bucking will be pressed harder and harder into a small opening on the skyward side of the barrel producing an adjustable upspin on the BB as it is fired.

The hop up can usually be completely reduced, allowing the bb's to fall natrually once leaving the barrel, or can be tightened too much causing a near vertical flight path after about 40'. The trick is finding the balance so that the bb will travel level for an extended distance before falling.

Is there a grip that will work with the crosman pulse r76 airsoft gun?

that is completley stupid there is a grip that will fit on people think the r76 uses a piccany rail go on google type in weaver rail and then compare it to your gun it is a weaver rail if you go on amazon for 9.40 with shipping you can get a grip pod (a grip with a bipod that deploys out of it) thats what i have and it works great thats why they have the under rail on the gun

Why is green gas better than Co2?

They both have pros and cons.

CO2

Pros

Works better in cold weather.

Cheaper than green gas (Depending on where you buy it).

More common.

Cons

It does not lube your airsoft gun which means that you have to have to clean your gun more.

It has a nasty odor.

It is tougher on your gun

Green Gas

Pros

Green Gas is just propane with silicon oil mixed in, so if you have a propane adapter and silicone oil you can just use propane which is cheaper than both CO2 and Green Gas.

Premixed with silicone oil

Your gun will require less maintenance

Not as tough on your airsoft gun

Cons

Green gas is more expensive

Harder to find if you don't buy online

Propane

Pros

Very cheap

Easy to find

Efficient

Cons

You have to mix silcone oil in your self

You need a propane adapter

Overall propane gives you the most bang for your buck, and you will save a lot of money if you get a green gas gun and adapt it to use propane (super easy to do).

How do you keep airsoft goggles from fogging?

I wish I knew a real answer to that question myself. The two ways I've found to IMPROVE the situation is to:

A). buy a pair of goggles with a fan

or B). cut holes into the mask just big enough to let air out, without letting a bb in.

Are airsoft blowback guns accurate?

It depends on the type of gun, the manufacturer and most importantly the operator. Overwhelmingly airsoft blowback guns are pistols and by definition pistols are not terribly accurate to begin with. The low fps (i.e. velocity of each round fired) that is characteristic of these types of guns (especially found in low quality under $50 guns) adds to the innacuracy. There are a few well made blowbacks, Tokyo marui models can sell for over $100 and max out around 400 fps, still pistols but in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing could be very accurate within 50-75 yards.

How do you increase your FPS in PCSX2?

You don't. You must turn off Windows completely and leave only PCSX2 to run. Windows is stealing performance from PCSX2. This is why PS2's games have big fps, PS2 don't have Windows in background running. Practically, it is impossible. Maybe you can install PCSX2 as a subsystem or something. Maybe than you will have almost full fps in emulator.

P.S. Sorry if my English is bad, I'm from Croatia.

No- and it would be very dangerous to try. Pellet guns and airsoft are two very different things.

Are Tasco scopes any good?

Like anything, you get what you pay for. Tasco manufactures a variety of scopes of different quality. While cheaper scopes may not be of the best quality, the better quality scopes (more expensive) are comparable to other manufacturers' products.

Not everyone can afford a Leupold, Bushnell, Swarovski, or Nikon scope. But even these three high end optics manufacturers have "bottom of the barrel" offerings much like the lower end Tasco products. You just have to know what it is you are shopping for.

There is a good tutorial for choosing the right optics for your weapon linked below. The best advice is to learn what you can, shop around, and choose the best scope you can afford.

The fact though is that the better the shooter, the less he has to rely on add ons. Some of the best shooters in the world can drive nails at a hundred yards with iron sights.
