power of attorney and executor\rixe of the estate could be the only legal 3rd party that a credit card company could speak to about this debt. Even though a person has been diagnosed with dementia or an illness such as Alzheimer's it does not invalidate the person's debts. The person with such an illness is not considered legally incompetent until a court has reviewed the evidence and pronounced the person to be incapable of managing his or her personal affairs. The short version is an incompetent person can be sued, but the suit will not be binding without there being a legally appointed guardian/conservator. The entire process is expensive and extremely complicated and it is best explained by an attorney who practices in the field. Most attorneys offer free or minimal fee consultations, referrals can be obtained from the state bar association or found on the ABA website, http://www.abanet.org
Do Alzheimer patients exhibit catatonic behavior?
Yes, my Dad in the more advanced stages of the disease went into such a state. The more earlier apparent symptom in his case was loss of memory and inability to gauge distances, both near and far.
I understand that recent research debunks that view: the amount of aluminum ingested from cookware made from that metal is very tiny and harmless. Don't quote me, though

How do you know if alzheimer's is really alzheimer's and not the effect of medifcines you take?
Determining whether symptoms are due to Alzheimer's or medication side effects involves a thorough evaluation by a healthcare professional. This evaluation typically includes a detailed medical history, cognitive assessments, and possibly brain imaging. If cognitive decline coincides with starting new medications, it's essential to discuss these changes with a doctor, who may adjust the treatment plan or explore alternative causes. Ultimately, differentiating between the two requires careful observation and clinical judgment.

Where does the spirit go of someone with alzheimers?
the spirit goes to heaven if the person it belongs to were born again before they lost their mind. but unfortunately, they will go to hell if they were not born again before they lost their mind. everyone has a chance to confess their sins and ask jesus to forgive them before they die. whether it takes 1 second to die or 1 year they all had their chance. if they were retarded then that's another story. all retarded people will live in heaven if they are not capable of making a decision on their own.
The below is an additional response to the question and response to the initial answer above:
Let me first say, I am NOT THE AUTHOR OF THE FIRST RESPONSE ABOVE.
Assuming that his question was intended to be from a Christian view point, not any other religion, I have several questions for the responder of this question. Now those of other religions, please don't misunderstand me, but from this point further, that would relieve you from this discussion.(You shouldn't mind, being that Christianity isn't your view point anyways.) Okay! Now, that being said, let's talk about this.
You are saying that a person has no hope of salvation if they did not receive prior to losing their mind. Let me ask, as should be expected, where is this found in God's Word? As far as I know, there is no scriptural basis at all for this statement, but seems to be more of an assumption based soley upon your own fleshly logic, intellectualism. Secondly, the bible tell us that God is a Spirit. Jesus said so and told us that we must follow Him in the Spirit. Now we know from the Word that we are not to live in the flesh, but walk in the Spirit of God. This is where he deals with us, in the deep parts of us, not our flesh man. So to say that because a person has lost contact with their own being because of the flesh (in this case Alzheimers), and that God can no longer deal with them deep down in their spirit because of that, simply is not true. The spirit man lives inside these "earth suits", these human bodies. God deals with the spirit of a man. Just as the temple had three parts, the outer court, the inner court and the most sacred Holy of Holies, so we as people are the same. Body (outer court), Mind (inner court) and Spirit (Holy of Holies). The Word says we are the temple! Can you see that now? If we are the temple, and He deals with us in our Holy of Holies, and dwells there, not in the flesh of who we are, then absolutely a person can be saved as God deals with them in their Holy of Holies while their flesh mind may be "long gone." God loves that much

Model 775a what is the value of this 12 gage auto loader?
Not a Browning, but: Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Auto 5's with poly-chokes, compensators and recoil pads (other than Mag 12's) will reduce value. Near mint guns and original box will command an extra premium. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.

When and how was Alzheimer's disease first diagnosed?
The disease was first described by Dr. Alois Alzheimer, a German physician, in 1906. Alzheimer had a patient in her fifties who suffered from what seemed to be a mental illness. But when she died in 1906, an autopsy revealed dense deposits, now called neuritic plaques, outside and around the nerve cells in her brain. Inside the cells were twisted strands of fiber, or neurofibrillary tangles. Today, a definite diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease is still only possible when an autopsy reveals these hallmarks of the disease. Since Dr. Alois Alzheimer's was the first person who discovered the disease, AD was named after him.
