Is a 10 month old gsd male able to breed a 2 year old gsd female?
Physically yes but it is HIGHLY recommended you don't. GSD's have one of the highest rates of CHD (canine hip dysplasia) and x-rays to determine if your dog has it or is susceptible cannot be done until the age of 2 years. X-rays must be done and sent in to OFA (your vet will do that) for evaluation. It takes between 3 and 6 weeks usually for results to come back. CHD is genetic in many instances and if you breed dysplastic dogs you are dooming their puppies to a lifetime of pain. Other tests needed for German Shepard Dogs are elbows (done the same time as hips), testing for Von Willebrand's disease, cardiac, and eyes. Many things cannot be tested for but in this breed ALL of those things should be done prior to breeding.
Why is the Jack Russell terrrier not an akc recognized breed?

Can akc register a lab wih a chocolate mom and a yellow dad?
Yes. When you breed you breed to the best dog for your female, not necessarily for color. So if the best male for your female is black and your female is yellow you do it. If both parents are black, then that's what you do. You will rarely find a reputable breeder that breeds for color.
It is normal to breed two different colored parents together. There can be any combination of colors within a litter, depending on the genetic background of the parents.
As far as the tail goes it will start to curl up with maturity usually, It really depends on how old this puppy is 4-5 weeks is normal. The nose, not so much. If the breeder is reputable, you should have no problems having these questions adequately answered.

Hopefully never. How can you replace lost AKC papers if you don't know the name of the breeder?
If the dog is registered, the breeder's name (and/or the name of the current owner of record) can be found with the dog's registered name or registration number. Sometimes it can even be found with part of the dog's registered name, especially if the part you know is the kennel name.
If the papers were puppy papers and the dog was not yet registered, but you know the name of the dam (mother dog) then the breeder is the owner of the dam and you can find them that way.
If they were puppy papers and you don't have any information on the pup that would identify them (litter number, breeder, sire/dam name), then you're out of luck. The best you can do is spay or neuter the pup and get it an indefinite listing privilege which will permit you to participate in various AKC sports, but not in conformation and not breeding.
