my sure name is Palaparthi , we are 6000 Niyogi Brahmins. My mother s maiden surname ( before her marriage to my father) was Bhogaraju which is again 6000 Niyogi surname. My father and grand fathers surname is palaparthi from the village,palaparru,a village in Guntur district.

My point here is surname`s can be of any cast. If any one whats to know "cast" then they have to trace back roots to verify.
