No, I don't believe it is a demon name. There does appear to be a guardian angel named Ta-ba-tha (that is how it was pronounced to me during a meditation). The angel has both female and male qualities and was dressed in a knee-length white & pale blue robe. After much researching, I'm finding it difficult to qualify my answer but will continue my quest to find other stories relating to this name and angel. The origin may be Egyptian.
