First off i really like BOTH AMUTO and Tadamu and i can't really choose. Yes ikuto does love amu and so does tadase. It looks like in the manga she ends up with ikuto and in the anime she ends up with tadase but the flippen directors don't specify:3

Nope. American's are the wide eyes. Basically, Japanese Anime characters are basically Americans drawn by Japanese and are just assumed as Japanese although they have very little Japanese traits.

It is a possibility that there will be a third season, since the ending was more or less like a cliff hanger. To me it silently implied that there was a new adventure for the new team.
I've also read somewhere that (if ever there will a season three) it'll be released by October.
But sadly both of these 'theories' or rumors can be disproved. We'll' just have to see and wait patiently, and of course pray, I mean I haven't seen Sophie and Lok dating ;P (I'm kidding).
