This is one of the side effects of Wellbutrin, and will probably go away with time. However, Wellbutrin can also cause high blood pressure, which can in turn cause ear ringing, so it would be a good idea to get your blood pressure checked.

I doubt it will hurt you any more than a person that did need it, but the withdrawl could be there reguardless, and it usually is.

The drug has the ability to change chemical balances in your brain, so reguardless be careful. I am on it and its one of those drugs that I don't notice I am taking unless I stop taking it. But looking back It really has made me feel like a more normal person that I was without it.

most likely you are allergic to something in the medicine. stop taking immediately and the spots and rash should go away, if not call doctor right away. you should probably call a doctor anyway to see what alternative they suggest to the welbutrin.

you can if you slowly come off of it. your body gets used to having it and if you just stop then you will get the same side effects as going on the medication. i believe the more you take the worse it is. i would suggest cutting down by 25mg to 50mg every 2 weeks that should cut down on any side effects and give your body time to adjust.

There have been no studies for done on the effects of grapefruit on Lexapro in specific, but grapefruit has been shown to have adverse effects on the absorption of many medications. It could possibly increase the frequency and magnitude of side-effects, or it could just negate the medication's actions. It is a good idea to not eat grapefruit while on any medication. If you must eat it, however, then at least wait a few hours after taking Lexapro to have some.

Im not sure if all Doctors would agree but i called mine this morning because ive been on klonopin and zoloft for about 6 months now and since i started i stopped taking all supplements. Im trying to get back into it again and called my Dr this morning i was informed that it was ok. hope this helps!

I am not a professional just a person with depression. If you haven't already I urge you to see a psychiatrist. They are medical doctors as well as psychologists so they can prescribe pills. Continue seeing her/him until you feel better. The psychiatrist will sometimes use higher doses or a combination of antidepressants to make you feel better. I have severe depression and I am on five different antidepressants but I feel so much better. I am taking cymbalta, wellbutrin, prozac, lamictal, and trazadone (which also helps me fall asleep and stay asleep and is not addictive). Don't give up and think you have to live with depression, keep trying! Good luck and good health.

I am attempting currently to cut the pill, weigh it, add to water and drink the water at intervals through the day (since tampering with the extended release capsule is a no-no, you need to keep relatively equal levels through the day.) I tried to just go without and felt severe headaches and nausea. Taking a third of a capsule would make this go away, but that doesn't seem like a great longterm idea and must yo-yo your poor brain. Titration today has been going well. I've read other comments on boards recommending it. So far so good...

call your doc. tell her what you did. she'll probably want you to restart taking them as directed again and if you really want to come off of them then do it the way you know you should - with a good wean under your prescribing clinicians care.

You probably will not feel the side effects unless you have missed many doses. Prozac has a long half life which means it stays in your system for a long time (unlike the other SSRIs such as Paxil, Lexapro, Zoloft..) even after having stopped taking the medication. As a result, withdrawl symptoms are minimal. However, you may begin to experience a return of depressive/anxiety symptoms as the drug level decreases. It is not a good idea to abruptly stop taking Prozac because you feel ready to get off of the medication. If you missed a few days because you forgot or left them at home while on vacation - it is unlikely that there will be consequences. If you want to stop altogether, talk to your doctor first. :)

In my opinion it does. I started Fluoxetine (generic prozac) about 6 days into it, I started breaking out in a rash on my back. Today I went to the doctor and he said it looked like Shingles and I was having pain and all associated with Shingles. I also, from first day of taking the meds, developed a serious head cold/flu like symptoms. My doctor took me off of the meds in case it is the cause of the cold/flu and shingles. Hope this helps. Funny I never had issues with it before.
