Answer
Everyone has something about themselves physically they do not like. One must always find and enjoy the things about themselves they do like. First, one must find the root of their displeasure in themselves. If it is being the brunt of jokes or if it is something inside us, we have to fix our reasons for feeling so negative. New friends can be found or we need to just learn to laugh at ourself. Turning the tables on a jokster by pointing out their faults, although cruel, can sometimes work. If it is a self-esteem issue finding a friend who sees your good qualities will help. Everyone has something good to offer! A person should find it and enjoy it! People with big hearts can't hide in a crowd, no matter how small they feel.
Answer
It is the size of your heart that matters. You cannot do anything about your height, but you can do everything about the person you become, your integrity, how conscientious you are about your job and so on. Those things will increase your stature in people's minds. Statistically, you will live longer than tall men, so look for what talents you have and use them to build your life. In the long run, your height will be the least thing that is important. Wouldn't it be a shame to waste your time now agonizing over something you can't change? Now, go and make us proud!
What phobia is the fear of happiness?
As far as I know even the most neurotic people do not fear happiness, but sometimes people fear to be disappointed, and when they are happy they worry that the cause of their happiness will eventually disappoint them. This is more a fear that happiness will prove to be temporary or ill-founded, rather than a fear of happiness itself. And this particular fear does not have a clinical name, either. It's just a fear.
Hi, my name is Keith. I am currently at the age of 40. As a young teenager I had an alcoholic father. In our family, he had to always drive us to any social get-together and therefore he could not drink. As a result he got extremly angry in the few hours before we left. To vent this anger he made great threats to me. These threats have damaged my life. Why? Dad always wanted to please mum on those days. To do so, he wanted my sister and me to behave perfectly. Any step out of line for us ment punishment. The classic saying to me, eye to eye from him, was "IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY THIS DAY, I'LL KILL YOU...".
Now when I'm in with a social group I get distressed. A more extreme one eg. a birthday party/Christmas/wedding the more I freak/sweat/and have a fear of being happy.
What phobia is the fear of swinging objects?
It's not diagnosed. There is no word for it, so feel free to make it up.
I call it Oscillatphobia... Oscillate is Latin for swing.
When things swing in front of me I get sick to my stomach.
One day I was watching the air freshener swing on the review mirror of my families car before an accident and I can remember it swinging and my mothers key chain swinging from the ignition immediately after. No one was seriously hurt, but since it makes me cringe and my stomach hurt. Can no longer have anything on my key chain, any objects hanging from my car, must look away from loose dangling jewelry and can't stand beaded door curtains.
Hypnosis may be a option for treatment, which has worked for others, but no myself.
Regards,
Kay

When should a person seek professional help with feelings of anxiety and depression?
You are the only one that can stop you from doing what you want. You are the only one that can ignore the stares and jokes of other people. When you start respecting yourself then you'll feel better regardless of how other people treat you.
The only thing that is stopping you from doing what you want is you.
I used to be about a stone overweight and I got bullied about it. In the end I learnt that nobody should have an effect like that on my life and learnt to block people out. Go out there and live your life as you please, don't let anyone ruin it for you because that's not what you deserve.

Paranoia is a psychological disorder characterized by delusions of persecution or grandeur.
People with paranoia suffer from irrational fears that are not about a specific object, but about their surroundings or how they are perceived by their surroundings and cannot let go of things that happen to them.
People with paranoia have a decreased ability to function in normal life, when paranoia gets extremely bad it turns into a delusion of persecution and pretty much eliminates the ability to function in normal life.
Extreme paranoia is usually a symptom of a larger disorder, the most widely known is schizophrenia. Paranoia can sometimes occur in a major depression, because sometimes depressed people think the whole world is against them.

No, Anorexia is a phycological disorder. Anorexics see themselves as overweight when they look in the mirror, just because you aren't eating much, doesn't mean you are anorexic.
