AOL Mail and AIM IM

I have not been able to figure out how to email kathielee and hoda. they were discussing a topic today about relationships with mother in laws and I want to add something to the discussion that was left out. how do I email them? it is very frustrating that I have been on their website and nowhere does it let you email them. please give me the answer! thank you!

The AOL member directory does not exist any more. It has been discontinued for over 3 years now. An alternative is to go through "bebo", log in with an AOL account and the part where it says "you have XX friends" click on "find more friends" and one can search email address through there.

Answering a IM varies fro IM site to IM site. In most IM sites you click on the box under the current conversation and the | icon will appear. When you have successfully posted you response click "Post","Publish" or "Respond". It may take a few minutes to display your response depending on your internet speed. You do not have to refresh you page to see a new response

they can not earn profit from it and the idea of it is outdate, so just shutdown it.

Also, scammer were using the ftp upload to create scams. making the aol hometown pages look like account login pages. once the member entered the info such as sn and pw. it would send it to a different site using scripts. then the scammers would have the account info to spam with and other stuff

I quit with so-called AOL broadband a year ago, after they were taken over by Carphone Warehouse. They were bad anyway and then became worse. When I left them for Tiscali they had the nerve to tell me Tiscali were the worst. I was disgusted to learn that Tiscali were then bought by Carphone and all of them are now Talk-Talk. In reality, the landline is run by BT, but BT are pathetic too and don't even acknowledge emails.

What a shambles, and the data rate is pretty lousy too.

Let's say x is in conversation to y. When x sends a message to y, the message is sent to the AIM server. The server sees that this message is designated to be received by y, and the AIM server passes the message to y. Now let's say that y wants to reply to x with a picture. AIM makes you make a direct connection for this. Now when y sends the picture, it goes directly to x, completely bypassing the AIM server. Be careful who you direct connect with, since this is also a way for hacker's to attack your computer. They can't do that when the AIM server is the middle-man.
