Depending on your Mac, the version of Mac OS X and/or the software being used it will be the key combinations:

Control (ctrl) and the down arrow

Control and V

Function (Fn) and down arrow

Using a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Female Adapter Cable Macbooks do not have HDMI female ports. But that do have Mini DisplayPorts.

When you open and use Skype it automatically uses Apples built in web cam.

Widgets come with these mac softwares: 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard). These softwares contain "widgets". Upon installation of the software, or if you haven't moved any of the dock icons around, you should see the finder symbol on the dock, and immediately to the right of the finder symbol on the dock is a black clock thing, which is the icon for widgets. They do not come with 10.3 (Panther) or lower.

There is no difference in MacBook Pros (assuming they are the same model) purchased directly from Apple or any other retailer.

go to Mail

go to the Mail Preferences (press the Command (Apple) key and the comma at the same time.

click on the big @ symbol to access accounts. click on the account you want to delete and then click the small minus (-) symbol towards the bottom of the window

The button in the top right corner of a Mac's Finder, and some applications. windows will toggle conceal/reveal the toolbar across the top of the Window so just the Window's name is visible at the top of the Window.

Just turn the WiFi on and then connect to a network. To turn it on click the WiFi icon on the top right of the screen and then click Turn WiFi On. The icon looks like a hand held fan or V with a loop on top. Or you can open System Preferences and then click Network > WiFi on the left, and turn it on.

You click the bold Safari word on the top left corner, then you click preferences , then you search on the password button, and then you remove your password.

Any standard USB Flash/Thumb drive will work with the MacBook Pro. The "best" will depend upon the specific needs of the individual user.

My advice is to buy yourself a modern LCD or LED TV. They are very inexpensive and you will see so much difference in picture quality that you will junk that old CRT TV. But if you insist then click the link I will post for instructions on how you can accomplish this.

It depends on what you consider a 'computer. In the early '70s (72, 73 or thereabouts) Texas Instruments introduced their first microprocessor calculators. As I recall, they did not do much more than basic math functions and they were not cheap (over $80 I believe). I stuck with my reliable 'Picket' aluminum slide rule!

Two simple ways:

1. Using System Preferences:

* Open System Preferences * Click "Network" * Select the interface from the list (e.g. "Ethernet" or "AirPort") * Click "Advanced" * Look through the tabs; one will contain the mac address. (If you're looking for the Ethernet interface, it will be under the "Ethernet" tab; if you're looking for Airport, the address is under the "AirPort" tab) 2. Using Terminal:

* Open Terminal * Type "ifconfig" (without the quotes) and hit enter * Look through the list until you see the correct interface. The mac address wil be in that section (it will say something like "ether 00:11:22:aa:bb:cc") * Alternatively, you can enter "ifconfig <interface>" to only view that interface. Ethernet is usually en0 and AirPort usually en1 (but not always). For example, type "ifconfig en1" to view the AirPort's configuration.
