How early can a person be diagnosed with narcissism?

NPD cannot be diagnosed with any certainty prior to early adolescence (13-14). Narcissistic traits, a narcissistic style, and even a narcissistic personality can be evident earlier in life, though.

Many old school shrinks hesitate to diagnose anyone with anything until they are 18 as that is when the personality is fully developed. Some wait until 21. If some one seems to have a disorder they like to say showing NPD characteristics. I believe that although the personality is not fully developed until 21, that is all the more reason to seek treatment for an adolescent that is showing narcissistic traits (or any disorder)

I'm preaty sure you can. You might want to double check me on this though. However is appears to me that Asthma in constriction and inflamation in the lungs. The primary method for controlling asthma involves taking drugs - inhaled and oral?

Yes for the majority. A lot of errors asthmatics make with oral inhalers is that they spray first then breath in deeply. This is absolutely the wrong way to medicate with inhalers.

The correct and most effective way takes only a couple of tries for most people to get the "Knack".

Here it is.

1. Shake your inhaler for a couple of seconds. This lets you know how much is in it, and some brands may need it to mix the ingredientts, but this type is old hat now.

2. Breath out as much air as you can.

3. Put the inhaler to your mouth and prepare to squeeze it, Don't squeeze yet.

4. Breath in as fast as you can and simultaneously, or a fraction of a second later, squeeze your inhaler.

Done!

The following is how NOT to use your inhaler: -

Squeezing your inhaler first then breathing in.

This only coats your mouth, teeth and tongue with the medication and most of it is wasted. It does not get to where it is needed, deep down in your throat. Visit your doctor and show him/her your style to verify that you are using your medication correctly.

Remember, Breath and Squeeze. Not Squeeze and Breathe.

If your 3-year-old son needs pulmicort and abuterol can these be taken together or after his morning pulmicort do you wait 4 hours before giving him abuterol?

Yes. It just takes a little longer. Also, if your child is having an asthma attack and while on Pulmicort my Asthma MD recommended increasing his Pulmmicort as soon as his cold developes .5m 2/day...until the cold goes away. Getting that inflamtion down is key! Vics Vapor rub at night is a must also with colds...keep that mucus from settling in at night.

What are nursing interventions for ineffective health maintenance?

Negligence falls under tort laws, this is a legal step people generally look into for lawsuits where harm caused to a patient goes beyond known risks that the patient signed up for, or in some cases direct actions that would count despite certain contracts because of a deliberate intent to cause harm to a patient, and no doctor will give a 100 percent guarantee even on a well meaning procedure for this reason because they have rights like patients have rights to disclaim the effectiveness of practices, harm isn't the same as a statistical success rate. Contracts are usually signed so that doctors and nurses aren't held liable if adverse effects come from treatments or procedures that may inherently carry risks.
